Space Wolves have a lot of niche answers, but not as cohesive game plan as these top ones. I'm hoping that the changes to Ragnar might mean he can do more than tickle outside the howl turn in faction wars. (I love playing with the wolves cause you feel like you do have the tools to possibly win against anyone, but putting it together is tough)
i use world eaters at common because i only have wrask. i absolutely love playing them, just because of the carnage factor with macer and kharn going berserk. the only team i routinely lose against is the blood angels, but not before i take out three or even four of them.
Orks are the strongest for sure. Blood angels are very good second. They can heal, do ranged, melee, psy dmg AND summons AND have an insane 6 range attack... World eaters would be third imho but are easier to counter if you focus fire on kharn. Then idk. Tau can do pretty well but are glass canons.
After i get the final chest i always mess around with imperial guard. Some people will just rush in assuming youre an instant KO and its hysterical when you win 😂
Ye deaths guard is hardest use in factions war if have capture points mode. Last one a got position 7 with deaths guard, but was laky for dident fight alot blood angels, but got alot low ground and going secend ws ranged factions. And orks are closest one a cold fix up skills to lvl 35. But gear.. thats a problem.
The equipment should be capped just like with any other rarity capped content. It should work like the following: RARITY CAP Common Uncommon Rare Epic Legendary UPGRADE RANK Iron Bronze Silver Gold Diamond EQPT LEVEL Common 3* Uncommon 5* Rare 7 Epic 9 Legendary 11 *No benefit gained from equipped booster at this rarity cap.
The question is, if you are playing rare cap and have an epic 3 item: does it get downgraded down to rare 7 or rare 3? I am still assuming it’s the former.
I'm shocked to see Eldar and Nids above BT. How much does the list change between the modes? I think DG suffer badly in conquest but Tau do much better in it. Eldar struggle in Power-ups thanks to the defensive buffs they can't utilise.
Sad that Ultramarines are so bad in tournament arena. I manage to win every now and then, and with careful and patience play, but they lose a lot. They don't have a counter to most of those OP factions, and they simply don't have the synergies. It is what it is. 😢
I play exclusively Black Templars. I find they are pretty effective, though there is a bit of a patience game, trying to get the right time to charge in. I am sure I had some annoyed opponents when they came in and got two kills on me in a turn, then Thoread got mad and their team melted.
im a world eater player too since the start of faction wars.rare levels btw. won my matches 9/10. was defeated mostly when im up againts death guards. those damn stinkboys
@@noxtempest I really enjoy faction TA too, not just due to the balancing but also because it just feels right to me seeing a faction fight together with their own :)
Thank you for weighing in about Ragnar, finally a coherent opinion
Last faction TA I ran the Imperial Guard and got all the chests. They require patience but they are quite fun.

I do enjoy using the world eaters, but this is at common since I don't have all of them
My blood angels are surgical, praise be to father Sanguinius 🙌🏾

I feel like space wolves would do really well against the thousand sons, which would make sense in canon

Blood angels performed amazing last faction tournament

Ragnar changes, Arjac as the battlepass toon, can we expect the next campaign event to be spacewolf?
I really wish I knew. However as soon as I'm told anything I will share
Even if they're bad, I will always go for my Necrons. I have faith and Anuphet can go for the late game sweep with just spam warriors.
What about equipment? Is it capped somehow?
Argh good point. Yes equipment does get downgraded to the appropriate level. There's an article in the tacticus wiki that explains it I think
The equipment should be capped just like with any other rarity capped content. It should work like the following:
RARITY CAP Common Uncommon Rare Epic Legendary

@@Para-GR it'll cap at rare 7

Last Faction War I played World Eaters almost exclusively and I won around 90% of the matches. Not sure how they would fare against the Orks, though.
I would love to hear how you do in this TA and I wish you the best of luck in your battles.

Dude Tyranids will kill everything
Just about to comment the same. They've seen me through the last few tournaments.
This is why I prefer the faction TA. It does seem to be more balanced

I don't think I've ever lost to nids. I think it's easy to counter them
@@brobrochannel2387 I have only had one loss in faction TA
