That's so much effort! Great job.
Some closeups would have been nice during the process ☺️

Love it but just curious as to why you didn’t replace the DW with a new one?

Well for several reasons at the time. 1. Some day we will rip out the whole kitchen and I didn't want to waste money on an appliance that we might not want with the look of in the new kitchen. 2. I really needed the cabinet space at the time (since then we have added more cabinets at the end of our kitchen. 3. Our sink is not set up for a dishwasher ( no overflow) and can't be drilled because it's so old this dishwasher was leaking because of that exact problem (it wasn't set up right from the beginning). Now all that said at this point we are keeping this kitchen way longer than I thought we would LOL. So recently I have been thinking of ways to add a dishwasher haha, but I keep pausing because of the cost it will be in a kitchen that will just be ripped out some day.

@@woodglueru I understand! We live in a 1970’s ranch style house. We’ve lived here for 35 years and raised our 4 kids here. We just recently were able to replace our kitchen after planning and saving for those 35 years. I hope you’ll be able to replace your kitchen faster than we were able to! I love all your remodel DIY’s so far!
