It's more the transport system is out of balance. To carry on catering for cars we'd need new roads, flattening large areas of the town. And for what? So people can carry on using their cars for the bulk of their trips ... each under three miles?

@@trentr9762 Thanks. I'm with Colchester Cycling Campaign and we have been pushing for 30 years. The issues have been coherence and quality. Not at all, all towns and cities are vulnerable to crime. Colchester is still growing at such a fast rate, its not surprise that there are some teething problems. As time passes, the issues will be resolved.
Colchester is the worst - never experienced so much racism anywhere else in the UK The best thing about Colchester is the University of Essex Stay away if you can
Helloo. I got an unconditional offer letter from the university of Essex colchester. Is the University good? What about the availability of part time job and is the accomodation expensive???
@@adiyaunnikrishnan7303 The University is very well respected - it is a campus university so everything is based on campus for you - the part time jobs can be subjective as it depends on your time table the university has a few part time jobs most students find jobs in town if possible - accommodation on campus range from really cheap to expensive it all depends on what you can afford and need - if u want your own private bathroom toilet and dont want to to share with 5+ people then you pay a little more - also distance to campus is also taken into account
