I took my 2020 ktm 500 exc six days around a smaller track and I was actually really impressed with how it took the jumps. I have all of the suspension settings on “sport”. It’s crazy that a street legal dual sport can go around a smaller track and not be horrible!
Daniel or he could just buy himself a bike and leave the 450 to his dad but I know at least the new crf250r's have electric start but the new 450's might to

All it ever did was make me spend over 1k to fix shit it never needed when the filter, engine starter, kill switch, and the damn fuel pump needed the fixes... damn I'm such a fkn idiot 😒

the 500 isnt made for the track its just too heavy and short for its suspension. Dont get me wrong i love my 500 and still think its the best bike to own for where i live but on the track it has flaws.
I thought he was gonna blow out his ankle from to much compression on the landing.. I've done that before and my suspension was even set up for the track!

I'm looking into getting a 2013 KXF450 converter to supermoto for 6k! I've ridin a YZ250F for so long on tracks and I wanna be able to have that dirtbike feel on the pavement!! Is it worth it???

The suspension on any 450r or 250r will be stiff for sending it over jumps. Most enduro or trail bikes are way softer
