I can relate to the clip with the guy and his dog. I took my dog outside for a walk, the mailman pulled up in his truck, my dog ran to him, and 2 of my fingers were caught on the leash and pulled backward, then broke.
One of my dogs broke my toes, running fast, and crashed into my bare feet, breaking two toes.

I think it has more to do with psychology. When he closes his eyes, he chooses to not judge the people and hence people feel secure with him. Some people just find it difficult to hold eye contact for long. If that makes sense.

As someone who raises snapping turtles, he is extremely lucky. Most of the time they don't let go. My uncle lost an entire section of the back of his leg due to a bite, the turtle wouldn't let go! Don't handle them if you don't know what you're doing! Awesome video as always DDoI !

Sadly the turtle actually had to be killed to get it to let go of my uncle's leg, which had completely removed a chunk of meat, through a pair of boots and jeans. They are very strong! He ended up in the hospital afterwards.

Not only did he offer hugs to those who were depressed, he also took the time to ask them if they were okay and what was going on. Not even my own family members do that for me. We really do need more people like him in the world.
Reach out to your family. My family won't talk to me about personal things. They're silly and fun, but when things are serious, and I reach out to them, they support me 100% of the way. It might be the same for you.
@@Minuey it's always a good idea to reach out, but In my case, I tried telling my family that I was suffering through chronic depression and they immediately made our conversation all about them ("You think YOU'RE suffering? Have I told you about MY problems lately??"). And when i told my friend that I sometimes had suicidal thoughts, her response to me was, "That's not funny" and then she changed the subjext. 😕

@@TheStyx16 that was my thought. i've had a couple breakdowns at the wrong moments because of people at school when i was that age, so i really hope little man is okay! shameful for his family to record and post that. i can only imagine school is rough for him and they just made his entire life rougher. just about anyone who recognizes him will be like "oh wow im /rEAlLy ThAnKFUl/" and just generally bully him for putting his heart into something his family no doubt told him to do. they put a huge target on such a sweet boy
