- Tarifa has become one of my favorite places in Spain, and it's not just rich in history but also offers a lot of fun on its beaches, in its cities, and amidst its incredible landscapes! I learned to kitesurf, which was a thrilling experience for me. I have to keep taking lessons so that I can soon share a video of me doing the sport! Went windsurfing in Tarifa many years ago. Amazing place was force ten when I was there had to buy small 2.5 meter sail to cope. Never used it since. Fantastic night life.

In the 18th century, the Port in the Bay of Cádiz consolidated as the main harbor of mainland Spain, enjoying the virtual monopoly of trade with the Americas until 1778. If you have any Spanish ancestors, Marianny, they sailed from Cádiz to New Spain and the Province of Caracas. If you have any German ancestors, they sailed from Sanlúcar de Barrameda (a city in the northwest of Cádiz province) to Klein-Venedig (Little Venice) or Welserland, the most significant territory of the German colonization of the Americas, from 1528 to 1546.

I've been doing it since I was 13! The beginning will be hard since you spend most of the time in the water then on it. But once you get the hand of it you're going to enjoy every moment of it. The stormier the better for me personally

Se nota la influencia árabe en la arquitectura. Respecto a que Cadiz sea la ciudad más antigua de Europa tengo mis dudas. Por ejemplo Atenas tiene como 5000 años de antigüedad, pero en Bulgaria hay una más antigua, Plovdiv, que tiene como 8000 años. Obviamente hablamos de ciudades que siguen existiendo hoy en día, porque de las que desaparecieron, tenemos a Gobekli Tepe con más de 11500 años de antigüedad, aunque está Turquía en el límite entre Europa y Asia.
