@@KathyayiniKat well for the starter, Book Lu feng was a pure psychopath much much worst than movie Lu feng. Both of them end up together in the book. Some people call it Happy ending because they end up together but for me specially, I can't call it Happy ending since Xiao chen ended up with his abuser because he had nothing in life to live for. No ambition, no goal, no career, no love plus he was shown to be over 40 years of age. So he kinda gave up everything in life and just accepted Lu feng because atleast he *cough* loves *cough* him
