T-Bone Hubbard Karn did good I wish he still hosting family feud right now. Steve Harvey was the halliarious one but not my favorite host. Harvey's all right.
Now Family Feud comes on weeknights at 6pm and 6:30pm on WWOR, since September 2014. +Willie Scott Just like that promo. Feud with Steve Harvey comes on at 6pm & 6:30pm on WWOR.
Apparently, this episode was aired during a transitional period for WWOR: you've got the 2002-era "boxed 9" in the preceding Ricki Lake promo, and yet FF opens with the 1995-era "UPN dotted 9" logo in the corner.
The reason why the FM think music debuted here or the Rico vs. Klopfenstein(whichever episode was taped first) was because the winning bell chimes(the family who wins the question) isn't heard any longer.
This also marked the first time the FM think music is heard and Ken Fuchs becomes new director for the Feud. Lenn Goodside went on to direct Russian Roulette. These episodes(especially this week of episodes) were taped when the Seahawks and their QB Matt Hasselback were still part of the AFC. So I wonder if this was taped first or the Rico vs. Klopfenstein episode was taped before this one. If this season had the NFL QBs week, they must've put Matt Hasselback on the AFC side with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Mark Brunell, my imagination, of course.
That and the fact that most of the episodes were taped sometime in May/June of that year. I think Olga Ospina at the time was working out of the Quad Cities since she was an anchor for the ABC station there before moving to KION (CBS Monterey/Salinas) in 2004, and later KTLA 5 in 2009 and in 2013 to the present, FOX 11 News weekend anchor.
I really miss Richard Karn on the feud...I didn't like the white haired dude after him because of how boring he was, and Steve Harvey is just too ghetto and acts like he's hilarious when he's not.
The studio audience with their standing ovation really welcomed Karn to the Feud family.
You got that right

That's true, I cant believe I was in the studio when he did his first show
Lupton2000 ain't that the truth
I'm so glad you posted this with commercials because WWOR is my local network in New York
I remember being 4 years old when this came on. "Family Feud" aired at 1:00pm & 1:30pm on WWOR in Fall 2002.
16:40 is so ironic because Steve Harvey, 8 years later, would become the new host of Family Feud.

It's great to see to you uploading, Paul
Is it me, or was the noise and banter of this show more subdued back then?

Ricki Lake
Why is it always whites vs blacks on Family Feud?
Worst Family Feud host ever. He was annoying in Home Improvement too, but that was his job.
+David Mireles Louie Anderson is worse
