I love this video and tutorial. I’ve done crafty things forever but I also just printed some digitals. Can you help me math? I’ve printed my papers. How do I figure out what size to cut my cover?
Joyce, it depends on your matting. For example- I like a small margin. So if I cut papers that are 6x5, I’d make my pages 6 1/8 x 5 1/8. I would them make my cover at least 6 1/2 x 5 1/2. Some people like the cover 1/4” larger, I like at least 1/2”, maybe more. It depends on if I will have pocket pages and will have a tab to pull out the pockets. Does that help? Also, you can change the size of the pages. But I don’t want your brain to explode and you already have printed the pages, so you don’t have to worry about it now.
I got mine from Dollar Tree. I’ve seen two color choices, blue, pink and purple, which is fairly thin, and most recently white brown snd black which is the size I like. Also, in Michaels and Hobby Lobby, look in the kids section. I am sure someone more knowledgeable knows the right thickness to order, but that’s not me. ❤️

Where did you buy the elastic? I ordered some off Amazon but it is too thin.
