my sister showed this song to me back in 2016 and this song was the first song that introduced me to “hard rock” or even “mellow metal” and my god- it really was my gateway to that genre and metal music. then and now, will always be one of my favorite songs
I first happened upon this band was in my spotify discover weekly-list.. I thought it was some kind of black gospelmusic or perhaps slave-hymns, but when the Black-Metal elements came in, I was pleasantly suprised. I listen to alot of Black metal, lol.
Fucking crazyyyyyyy I want to jump and move with this sng. The vibe it gives it's just connects with me so much. Thank you to my Spotify recommendation for showing this fucking awesome band!!!
If they wanna complete the aesthetic of the band they need costumes. 19th century clothes with corpse paint. Kinda like Fleshgod Apocalypse uses Romantic age clothes and corpse paint. Honestly if my only complaint with a band is how they look, that's not too bad.
After seeing them live this year. I can't really see them doing anything like that... they're a no frill, just music kind of experience, they outright refused to do the whole encore thing and just plain-talked with us, saying "this is the part where we'd pretend to finish and then you'd shout encore and we'd come back and play a few more songs. Are you happy if we just keep playing and skip all that?"
Zeal & Ardor are truly one of the most unique and original bands that have came along in years!
there is some other unique bands, but in black metal they are the one
Karim Babir Look at Algiers, a fantastic soul post punk band
I randomly found them on apple music and it was the happiest day of my life.
Same.

which is funny then the metal part in it is literally black metal

I was hesitant of watching a live video hoping it wasn't just studio magic, but they sound pretty good
Their live performances are the best in show business bar-none
Have you seen Lamb of God live? They’re tight af too.
Not

Qu'il est bon ce groupe. Je les ai vu à Montreux et malgré un problème technique ce fut une belle révélation.

Costumes maybe (I like how they're dressed anyway), but they're fine without the corpse paint.
@@Crabcore1 I think Manuel would look fine without it but some of the other members should do heavy eye shadow or something
