We got to see this tour, except Shane was on hiatus. As they played London Calling and Fiesta we could look up from the floor and see the mezzanine rolling up and down with the dancing at The Wiltern. What an incredible show.
R.I.P JOE STRUMMER....thanks for your brilliant music..AND THE POGUES one of my favourite bands SHANE MAGOWEN thank you also for some of the best song's ever written, you and Joe live within my heart ❤️ forever... UP THE PUNK'S 🇨🇮🇬🇧🇨🇮.🏴🏴🅰️🏴🏴🍺🍺🍺😊💣💥🔥
God knows what i'd give to have gone to this. my 2 heroes on stage at the same time, Shane AND Joe! Met Joe when i was 10, about 3 months before he died after a Mescaleros gig with my stepdad. Unforgettable. Get well Shane.
My brother took me to this gig a week before my 16th birthday i dont think ive been to a better one since,i had to go home very drunk with odd shoes on as i lost one during london calling but found another at the end, thanks a lot for posting this .
I was indeed,i think The Pogues were at their absolute best around this time, that and all the great guests plus the fact it was St Patricks made it really special . I wasn't going to go cos i was so skint but my brother(bless his heart)stood me drinks all night as well as weighing out for the ticket .
That is a gret rendition of a great song. Good think Shane isn't siging it or we would never know the song outside of the beat. Thanks for posting this.

Jesus Joe was only 50? That fucking sucks, one of the most underrated musicians in the public's eyes
fucking yes, joe looks so happy! so rejouvinated, the late days of the clash were tough on him
Love The Pogues and The Clash in equal amounts but for me the pogues without shane just aint the same
