omg the audience dont know when to clap, its really uncomfortable. Its throwing him off because everybody is clapping at different times, he is so funny but he has to redirect his performance because he cant swear on american tv even tho he did. Also for people saying “ive heard this before” he doesn’t do stand up anymore, he said so and jokes are hard to come up with, so obviously he will use the same joke in America and in Britain. When he went on tour in the UK ( i saw him, he was amazing) he did the same performance at every show because imagine doing a new set for 30 different cities, hes a great comedian
To people complaining that comedians making the same jokes and telling the same stories for each place they go on tour, I'm going to start comparing it to how bands play the same songs when they go on tour. When you go see a band perform live, you don't expect them to have completely new songs and never play old songs again. And just like listening to songs over and over again, some people (including me) enjoy hearing a comedians stories multiple times.

Yep, US American audiences are tougher as you'd think and as they probably think themselves! You see it through his much bigger nervousness! He's usually very cool and confident, just a little more spot on than he is on American talkshows! Of course comedians always provide a certain national mentality in each gag they make. Most of the time, I personally love it, but I get why performances at home are of course "home runs"! He got them in the end though! 👌
