Let it defrost in the refrigerator for a day. Many steaks can be grilled over a flame. Season it with salt, peper and gralic. If being done indoors in a hot pan you can also add butter during the final stage of cooking. With a spoon keep spooning the butter over the steak while cooking> There should be many videos of cooking steaks on UA-cam.
Vegetables 10/10 Meat 0/10 Krissy just a little salt on both sides of the steak Then put in air fryer 180* 5/6 minutes both sides Medium rare Not sure how tender the beef would be over in the Phils But let it sit in the fridge for 2/3 days (thawed) Don’t ever let meat sit in water It diminishes the flavour Thaw in microwave
If you eat it, Its not a failure! But can I suggest the following steps.... 1 Thaw the meat overnight in frigde. 2 Bring to room temp before cooking, 3 rub a pinch of salt into it both sides. 4 fry in a pan for a couple of mins each side, turn it only once. 5 Place in a cassarole dish in an oven on low heat for about 10mins. 6 serve with vegs sauce and a couple of eggs on top. Love you videos Chrissy!
This is good. I like to see how Filipinas cook. My fiance will do it well also. I always barbecue steak, but if a grill is not handy, then frying on a stove or air frying works just as well. It makes my mouth water. I'm ready for dinner now. 😅
Chrissy you are so cute. Wishing you to be a great success in your nursing career and every happiness in your personal life too. You have grown so much in your confidence snd maturity. So very proud of you and you've become such a wonderful mom too. Bravo Chrissy 🎉❤😢
Tips for defrosting. You can either put the frozen meat into the fridge 24 hours earlier. Or you can put the frozen meat on the kitchen bench for 3-4 hours. Make sure you cook it after that. It takes some planning but you also get more flavour out of the meat!
I really like watching your cooking videos. Learning a lot about dishes in the Philippines watching them. Also the humming noise in the video is the same sound my clothes drier makes only louder so while watching this I thought my drier was breaking.
Didn't the air fryer come with instructions? They would normally tell you how to cook a steak. Or look on the internet. That is a steak not a roast beef, which is much, much bigger and thicker. Keep studying recipes and cook books, you'll get the hang of it.
Defrost the meat next time in the same bag, that you have it in the freezer, that way, no water will get into the meat, as well as take away the flavor of blood
Those potatoes 🥔 take waaaay longer in the air fryer then the peppers 🫑 n banana you should boil them first or cook them separate they usually cook at 400-450 in air fryer for like 20min
Welcome home Chrissy!! Ah nice Cooking with Chrissy! It's never a failure if you can still eat it. Once you airfry it for some minutes, you can cut into it halfway and bend it so you can see the inside. Once you find out the needed time you will be set for the next time you need your beef.
My God, never boil beef! It isn't a potato. Fry in a pan or (even better) grill over coals. Boiling destroys the flavor. Even if used in a soup the meat should be precooked first.
I am going to try air fried tomato . . . . . I love tp airfry sliced pineapple ! ! ! You should defrost the beef while still in the sealed plastic, in water. I cook beef by temperature, because my pinay asawa tells me that it is not cooked if she sees pink meat. I try to learn the time, but . . . . I use temp
Chrissy beef like this its much better to defrost it first, put in pan brown it for 3 minutes each side put in the oven for a couple of minutes let it rest for 5 minutes and then tuck in nice meat for eating ❤
Beef steaks best cooked on open fire, grill ! But can be very good also cooked on cast iron skillets or flat iron griddle! You can use it as meat in your menudo
Dont worry,Chrissy when it comes to backround noise.I allways have somebody outside my apartment reving up his motercycle. Its allways annoying.I just learn to try and tollerate it.
That's a little over cooked for me it should have some pink on the inside.but the only to cook beef is on a charcoal grill. I cook all meat on a charcoal grill though 😊 beef, chicken or pork I'm sure fish is probably better on a charcoal grill as well. Even in the middle of winter I'm outside cooking on a grill 🤣
Thaw it and then cook it in a cast iron pan or on a grill with charcoal! If you need advice on cooking, I am a retired from the profession chef. Always glad to help! PS: The steak was overdone.
Rule #1 never put it in water. Keep it in the package and then put it in the water. Rule #2 never boil your beef steak unless you are going to braise it in wine or stock with vegetables. Rule #3 you can Air fry it Or Broil it or place in in a fry pan or on a BBQ. The best would be to cook it to medium rare. Also you should also salt and pepper and a tablespoon of butter. I hope this helps Tim will love you for it. Please watch a UA-cam video I recommend Guga. Also if the beef it tough put it in a plastic bag with pineapple juice no more the 30 minutes. Also if you slice it for steer fry put a little baking powder on it. This it what Chinese restaurants do to make it tender. Put please watch a video. It is a sin to cook beef to well done.
Well I do agree with you I do not think Chrissy knew who Guga was and to be honest and with no disrespect to Chrissy I think she either did not find him or watched a bad cooking steak videos. As a New Yorker I eat a steak 3 times a week and I’m sure you either cook a good steak yourself but everyone starts somewhere and nothing is worse then a well done steak that’s my opinion. I’m just trying to save Tim the disappointment as he said in his last video that it’s hard to gat a good steak we’re he lives unlike in Manila.
@@elliotmotola5348 I preferred well-done steaks 20 or so years ago. She is young; she'll learn over time. At the same time, red meat should be avoided. That'll decrease her opportunities for experience... if she's health conscious, which I think she is.
Chrissy, you're a sweet girl but you sure don't know how to cook a steak, LOL. 30 minutes is way over cooked and tough. I'm surprised Timoy didn't show you. First, don't put it water. You can slowly defrost it in the microwave oven using very few seconds at a time. Don't let it start cooking in the microwave. Or if you have time, just leave the papistic wrapper on it and set it out on the counter for an hour to thaw. The plastic warper will keep the flies off while its thawing. Once thawed, just put a small amount of butter or oil in a pan and fry it for about 3 minutes on each side. Of course, ad your favorite seasonings. I just use garlic salt. You can play with the cooking time a little bit (it depends on the thickness of the steak) but this should get you pretty close to medium rare. You want it pink in the middle. Dark red in the middle is rare and not fully cooked. Brown all the way through to the middle is well done and over cooked. That's it Chrissy, so fast and simple. I have steak for dinner about once a week.
I re-watched one of your guys first videos when you were in General Luna....Tim used the title Filipina needs her MEAT....Not sure if you were pregnant with Dale yet or not but this title instantly reminded me of your guys early days on UA-cam. Hope all is well Chrissy!
I give it a 7. Meet was over cooked. All you had to do is cook it in the pan fir 10 min more and you would have been in heaven. Forget air fryer. Cook it in butter salt pepper andd garlic
The potatoes get a 10 out of 10, Chrissy, because you did not remove the skin. 👍The skin is what gives potatoes their delicious, earthy flavor. Always cook and eat the skin along with the rest of the potato. So good!
Air frying is good but I'd say no air fry for beef. Cook it on an open flame grill and if you touch it with your finger it should go in and bounce back. Over cooking a good beef steak is a sin. So juicy and yummy if it is medium or medium rare.
@mafp22w I hear you and they also only butcher old cattle that are tough as rubber. You want good beef there then you better go to a specialty store and buy good imported beef
Looked fantastic Chrissy. I think you would enjoy having a grilled steak on a barbecue out in the garden. A good marinade is worcestshire sauce, a bit of soya sauce, montreal steak spice, salt and pepper, some fresh garlic. Marinade the steaks for about 3 hours in a zip lock bag. Don’t put them in the ref as they won’t cook properly when they’re cold. Put them on the hottest part of the grill for a few mins each side. Even 500 F is ok. Then move them to a cooler area on the grill it won’t take long to cook them. Cook until near finish and then remove them and let them rest at least 5 mins and enjoy. Super juicy and delicious I promise you!
I enjoy your videos...Tim is very very fortunate to share his life with you...warm blessings...peace...
Thank you Chrissy for sharing this awesome content
Chrissy besides salt and pepper in the absence of a barbecue use some garlic butter gives it a good flavor as well.
Look very good
Ma'am chrissy thanks god timoy ay magkakasama na kayu
It was well done after being boiled and air-fried for 10 min.

Vegetables 10/10

Krissy just a little salt on both sides of the steak
Then put in air fryer
180*
5/6 minutes both sides
Medium rare
Not sure how tender the beef would be over in the Phils
But let it sit in the fridge for 2/3 days (thawed)
Don’t ever let meat sit in water
It diminishes the flavour
Thaw in microwave
When it stops moooing its done.
Or another option is cook it as Filipino Bistek with sliced Onions , soy sauce , black pepper , salt and lots of clamansi
If you eat it, Its not a failure! you must be such an inspiration to other young mothers. perusing your nursing career and still being a fantastic mother.
enjoy chrissy, your meal looks amazing!
I am cooking air fry tomatoes right now. Thanks for tip. But the steak for me has to be very rare with rosemary. So I say 9. Good job on a long day.
Hannah should do the same vlog. Maybe together.
The long dresses you wear are very beautiful. I would suggest vlog called "try on haul" showcasing five beautiful dresses.
😊

I never tried air fried tomatoes, I will now ! Looks good Chrissy
That cow was killed twice
You get much better Chrissy as time goes by nice to see you not eating rice as much ❤
Great job !!!!

You only need to cook it for 10 minutes unless you like it well done 😂
I rate it a 1 lol.. but you for sure will get better at it. I even started the same way you did
The beef looks like it came out great.
Can you show how your parents home look inside. Now when it's ready?
BOILING THAT STEAK TO THAW IT OUT WILL ALSO BOIL ALL THE FLAVOR OUT OF IT AS WELL. THERE WILL BE A LOSS OF NUTRIENTS AND SOME VITAMINS ALSO.
Why is jollibee so expensive?

Cook your beef half as long, good job.your growing so much in your journey
No electric stove there?
Well for the first time I will give a 5 also good job 👏 👍
Chrissy beef like this its much better to defrost it first, put in pan brown it for 3 minutes each side put in the oven for a couple of minutes let it rest for 5 minutes and then tuck in nice meat for eating ❤
Resting beef after cooking it is the secret to juicy, succulent and tender beef!
Lookup on you tube on how to do it! Practice makes perfect!
Again, agreed!
Bit confused about not having food in the house, how did everyone else eat?
They already ate when I arrived. We always have bunch of food for the house.
@@Im_ChrissyK Oh They just didn't save you some cause they didn't know you were going to be home. I get it. :)
@@Im_ChrissyKbut the freezer looks empty except for a few steaks.
Nurse k....I just put garlic powder and sea salt on my 🥩🍗
Chrissy, pan sear steak. Just use butter, salt, pepper and if you have rosemary you may use that.
Christy good job you cook 🍳
hi chrissy
No Rice ?
Great
I'm giving you a 10 because you put a lot of effort in it.and it looks good
I would rate it 6 out of 10, because I like my steak rare to medium rare, not well done like yours.

The meat should be red in the middle Chrissy once tim k gets home ask him to do a cooking the beef 🍖
Afternoon Chrissy ,pork forequarter chops done in the air fryer taste great. pork o'clock
I have pressure cooker and airfryer also
That’s looks so good😊I can’t taste it!😂
I dunno what I'm going to do, but I'll air fry EVERYTHING! :D hehehe
❤ Beef coconut oil in a pan healthy Fats ❤️🇵🇭
Tim needs to buy you a grill. 5 minutes each side and it will be perfect.
Uncle Tim providing the click bait titles now ? This ebegging knows no bounds 😂😂
Is that special talk for when you and timmoy have cuddling time?
When you cut a potato, put it in a bowl of water . So it will not turn brown😊
If you have a grill outside I would cook the beef 🥩 there.. the air fryer will make it overdone n rubbery
With Tim away so much who can blame Chrissy for getting her Beef elsewhere 😂🤣😂
The food looks yummy.... good job Chrissy ❤
That's not funny. So much disrespect and unbelievable.
@@karriemartinez2746 It's a joke Karen. Don't get your panties in an uproar.
@@karriemartinez2746 I guarantee that both Chrissy AND Tim would laugh at that joke. Haven't you ever heard their banter before?
@overtreactor ya but that was about pork not beef. Lmao old story. 🤣
Tim would have been pissed seeing a good cut of beef like that being destroyed ha ha 😂
amen :)
Not over cooked the beef Chrissy?
