So interesting and I think a little bit thrilling because you never know what the outcome will be! I hope Eddy was kidding about the four season resort; such beautiful habitat. You could wrap yourself up in one of those Thaumatophyllum leaves! Good rain and mosquito protection.
Wow! wow! Those are so huge. I’m originally from the Philippines and now living in Ohio, U.S. Aren’t you guys scared that there might be snakes. I know I would. I never ventured in the forest of the Philippines when I was living there.....scares me. Thank you.
"Anyone else think this is fun?" Me: it's fun seeing how to rub the inflorescence to get the pollen, it reminds me of something else lol. I love huge leaves. Thank you for making this video!
Thanks for sharing this type of content! I'm looking forward to trying to make some hybrids myself, but with the extremely short period during which you can keep the pollen, it might be impossible to do so, especially since I live in a cold climate and getting a Philodendron to flower would already be impressive.
Hehe I actually dont speak very well in Indonesian. Some people say its very child-like. Which would make sense since I learnt Indonesian only up to kindergarten level.
Oh my goodness. That’s paradise right there! Thank you both for the tour!! 💚💚💚
Cant wait for more treks like this in nature! 😀
@@onlyplants I can only imagine! You live in paradise!
Thank you so much! I have watched other videos on this topic, can wait for some more of mine to get big enough to flower.
Very interesting Sean, thank you ❄️💚🙃
😀😀
That’s so awesome, how cool to see them in all their glory!! Very interesting to see the flower pods and pollen. Yay for hybridization.
This really is my idea of paradise. 🌱❤
Minus the bloodthirsty mosquitos hehe
@@onlyplants Yes, minus the mosquito's 🦟 🤣
This was so amazing and I love being able to learn more about how hybrids come into being. Thank you Sean! ❤️
I learnt so much too! Glad to bring my audience with me on these educational sessions hha

Wow is that beautiful. Not just the plant, but the area.

Yaoloooo kk Sean, insane idea - to open b&b and apprenticing anthurium or philo pollination over there in heavenly Lopait
😀😀

Yeah this is why we see way more anthurium hybrids than philodendrons.
Wow😍😍
Seru bangeet 😁
That was quite an adventure for you sean. For awhile I did not recognize your voice. The pitch of your voice changes in your local language. ☺️

I did one but with Tujuan Bumi, for May release. i have made plans to visit kartel daun soon!
*Pollinating. Pollenating sounds weird to me.
