So my son is 7 months soon He was born in May. He is my first child. I remember the first week of having my precious son home i found it so difficult. Post partum depression hit realllly hard but in my culture we just surround ourselves with supportive family. Anyways I remember just staying up ALL NIGHT until about 6am watching ur videos because my son just would not sleep for more than an hour. I remember watching all ur videos out of no where. I was just trying to adjust to the fact that the next 6 months of my life is gonna be a mission but so worth it. I followed u on ur journey so that I was educated to adjust to mine. Someone would come and grab my son at 6 so I could sleep for atleast 4 hours and to be very honest ur videos helped me push through. I am so greatful for ur videos. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank u so much for pushing me through the sleepless nights holding my precious boy to sleep. As of right now he sleeps for 7 HOURS I finally don't feel like a zombie. It's been a lond hard road but thank u so much 😭😭❤️❤️❤️ What I wanna say (because I'm rambling on 😂😂♥️) is just thank u so so so much for everything. I haven't watched one of ur vids in a while now but I will stay watching. And I also wanna say HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 to your little one.
Love your videos. I've been following for about a year (when I found out I was pregnant). Just wanted to add....for mamas who are worried about pooping during labor, I'm proud to say I poops. Not once but TWICE! It's normal and the labor nurse said, " don't look papa" those nurses are God sent and do their best to make you feel comfortable. Kayla you got a mama friend here for life! Thank you for sharing Kayla! I also had a traumatic labor, 62 hours of labor and baby ended up in NICU as well, and our NICU experience was anything but pleasant. Especially in the middle of the pandemic. Baby boy wasn’t a good sleeper either and had reflux as well so now I can’t even think about having a second baby. My baby is 7 months now and his name is Jaxon 🥰. I love seeing Jackson’s updates! Happy birthday sweet boy!
I was induced with my baby girl who is 7 months now and it was a great experience! I felt pretty calm throughout the whole thing. No lie, I pushed her out (in like 10 min w/ an epidural) and told my husband that I was ready for #2 lol
Girl same story with the epidural! Second kid, thought it would be a breeze. Nope! I kept saying hurry and don't paralize me!😡 Just wanted him healthy too though. Still a good labor story like yours. Which I needed because my sister just lost her boy in labor and I was a nervous wreck. Believe me Kayla your fears aren't crazy because we really are blessed to have our kids. Thanks for sharing!

I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant with my second and i’m just hoping that he can stay in me much longer than my first. I hope I can experience the feeling you had when you knew Jackson could stay with you in the room and not in the nicu 😊💕
I think the shaking is normal for some people. I didn't have an epidural, but I was shaking uncontrollably after the delivery. The midwife game me a heated blanket to try and help with the shaking but it didnt work. I tore and my vagina was a moving target from me shaking so bad.

It sounds like Jackson had fluid in his lungs which is common with shorter pushing sessions. Babies have fluid in their lungs before birth, but pushing literally pushes the fluid out to prepare for outside breathing. When the fluid is still in their lungs on the outside, baby usually does a good job of getting it out over time. But it can be scary. I'm glad your experience was overall really good. What a beautiful memory! I was one of the crazy mom's who chose unmedicated birth. 25 hours of unmedicated labor with no sleep. They say you forget the pain...lies. But the end result was my perfect little boy. He turned one just over two weeks ago. I love him more than I could have ever imagined! Happy Birthday Jackson!

Seeing your birth to him was like a preparation for what was to come with mine (only her birth was a lot different: very fast, unexpected, no pain meds, but still amazing!) I had a natural birth, and still Experienced crazy shakiness afterwards, so I don’t think it’s the epidural but more so your body being in shock after what all just happened down there, or at least that’s what my nurse told me. Happy Birthday to Jackson 🥰

Unfortunately due to covid I had to give birth alone (with a mask on) AND with no epidural 😭 My labour sped up too fast that they didn't have time to give it to me, and let me tell you it was an insane experience😅 But mamas are strong, and thankfully baby came out healthy and well.
