BYD's American workers help keep U.S. communities safe

When the Corona virus pandemic surfaced, BYD gathered more than 3,000 top engineers. Moving with incredible speed, the group began to manufacture PPE -- including masks and sanitizer.
When U.S. children and their families began to return to school and work this summer, BYD answered the call: Creating "Family Health" and "Back-to-School Packs."
BYD also activated its unionized US workforce. Members of the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Union, Local 105, have assembled thousands of PPE packages and expedited shipments to where they are needed most in the United States.
