OP2C's voice oddly works with the lyrics, especially the "So we could rule the world" and "Why do they bot hurt me when they're all gonna die?" Felt strangely intimidating and empowering in the tone it was said in, great job! Great lyrics and remix for my 2nd favourite song from this game so far.
I appreciate your lyrics' attempt to humanize the Chaos King. The ironic part of him being so obviously evil as a dichotomy to, say, Asgore, is that Asgore truly loved his Children, but the weird thing people always conveniently forget is that the Chaos King hasn't ACTUALLY killed anyone yet. Sure he intends to plunge the world into darkness for purely selfish reasons, but not only is he a pawn of the Knight, but he (at least according to Lancer) would have been content to simply leave you in prison instead of killing you. Asgore, on the other hand, murdered 6 children. Something people either forget, gloss over, or worse yet attempt to justify. Not just children, but using our own experiences as comparison, possibly defenseless, harmless, "attempting to reason with Asgore: let's stop fighting" children. And he killed them nonetheless, much like he would kill us if we didn't fight back. Don't get me wrong, at his core, Asgore is someone I truly believe is a good person, but he has done so much fucked up shit that Toriel, the love of his life, left him, and REFUSES to get back with him. This is all through Undertale's eyes however, not so much Deltarune, which returns Asgore's to his fluffy roots, which is a relief, because Asgore "is" my favorite character in all of Undertale, but that's because of how flawed and human he is, and I love a sympathetic villain, but that's exactly what Asgore is; he's a Villain. I personally forgive him, but I wouldn't push that forgiveness on other people. Now returning back to the Chaos King, yes, he threatens his own son, yes that's a dick move, and yes he's generally a reprehensible asshole, but I will repeat for Emphasis, he hasn't ACTUALLY killed anyone yet, nor did he intend to kill you guys at all. Even when the soldiers surround you outside his castle and you're completely helpless, all he orders them to do is capture you, to keep you from the second Fountain. He becomes desperate once you reach the top, his normally calm demeanor, as seen when he talks to Lancer, is replaced with absolute maddening rage. Yes, he's evil, but this appears to be a new development for him, and other than threatening to kill Lancer, his track record is still MUCH cleaner than Asgore's.

I guess it goes to show how well Toby wrote Asgore, someone who ignored many plights to stop not just from Toriel, but likely from the children themselves, to not fight anymore and slaughtered them anyway.
I feel pity for the king. Even though he was trying to kill you and was kinda manic. HE had to do it, you have no idea. what it feels to get abandoned by the people you "trust".
