They shouldn't have won! it was fixed from the start, just so a group wins it for the very first time. Wendy and Haley were the clear winners. A few years from now it will probably come out that they were not actually siblings and just best friends. You never see them mention their parents. The girl comes off as fake. UNPOPULAR OPINION TRIGGER WARNING!! DO NOT CONTINUE IF THE INTERNET HURTS YOUR FEELINGS... I think GNT was great and absolutely deserve a successful career. I do not think that groups, duos, etc. should be allowed to participate in a competition that pits them against one person. It's hard enough to compete against one person but to have to compete against 2, 3, and more people is impossible.
If I were to choose a coach, it would be Kelly, she has the gift of bringing others at ease with a challenge she has already conquered, encouragement being her greatest quality.
This season has the best finalists ever. I'm with Kelly i'd be happy for whomever to win even i was all for GNT & Hailey... But anyone of them deserved it. Very tight race this season. Team Kelly was pretty stacked from the start & dominated the show even some of them with new coach but they originally from Team Kelly i think in top 13, 6 of them from Team kelly (past/present). And this season also mark the 1st season where coach other than Blake have two finalists. Generally Blake the only coach got 2 or 3 in finale. But nope! Here comes KELLY CLARKSON breaking all records, with youngest finalist, first trio to make finale & won, first coach to have more finalists beside Blake. 1st artists to have 4 itunes top 10 at the same time.
Omg same I thought I was the only one like I'm a teenager myself and 4 years older than her and she didn't really do it or me either. Even tho she could sing I thought she was ok/good or for a 14 year old. Wendy wasn't really my favorite in the beginning I didn't mind her at the end but I was definitely rooting for Jershika I liked paris too so I didn't mind him either!
Margaret Lewis, because they won, a recording contract is part of the prize for winning plus they get $100,000 for winning. Sadly, their dad's health has taken a turn for the worst. He has terminal cancer, and his recent surgery didn't go well.

They were apparently aiming to become doctors as far as what I've heard and while at least 1 of the older brothers graduated college with a degree in that field, things took a turn after their father was diagnosed. I've been rooting for GNT since day one and knowing that they have a sad story as to why they formed their group just makes me want to love and support them even more. Winning this show I'm sure meant a lot to them especially with what's going on with their Dad and I cannot even imagine what they are dealing with in all honesty because Bekah is about the same age as me and my parents are still doing very well (although my Dad has arthritis in his left hip and is getting surgery on it this coming January and even tho he'll have to go through physical therapy afterwards, he is going to make a full recovery)

Believe it or not, I've been seeing some negative comments about GNT's win and their journey on this show as a whole despite the sad story and I have to be honest and say that I'm absolutely appalled by what's going on in terms of those non GNT fans being so negative because 1. The trio themselves have that sad story and 2. Just because someone's favorite artist doesn't win doesn't mean they have to turn to social media and post such offensive comments. It's such a shame that we as the fans of this trio are having to deal with this now that the season is over because as true fans of this show, we've committed our time to watching them and the other artists perform week after week and there's absolutely no excuse for the haters to be doing what we are seeing them do.

Group should not compete because you're get votes for 3 people the little girls think this guy is cute or this other guy is cute or the guys are voting for the girl because she's pretty but I'm not saying they don't have talent but the show is called the voice not voices!!! Wendy lost because of song choices ! These artist don’t stick with what the audience loves from them and instead go with what they like personally . Wendy should have won. Wendy didn’t pay attention to what her best songs that got the best responses from everyone . The artist that at this point put what the audiences liked from them are the ones who win these things !
Congratulations. However, the track record of the show does not bode well for these winners. Its, unfortunately, all about the judges and their large annual salaries in the tens of millions versus the paltry 100k and generally worthless recording contract that results for the winners. Oh for sure! GNT just made history as this is the first time we've ever had a trio advance to the finale and win the show. I have to tell ya that I was so torn between GNT and Hailey Mia this season to the point where I just couldn't decide between the 2 Especially since Hailey kept getting better week after week and that GNT's harmonies were absolutely incredible not to mention that I even got Lady Antebellum vibes from them as that's the only trio that GNT reminds me of.

Reminds me of the acapella group Pentatonix back in 2011, they won The Sing Off and a recording contract but shortly after the company dropped them. So they took to YT and promoted themselves and now are world famous with 3 Grammys and multiple platinum and gold records. Girl Named Tom has that same potential I think.

I've seen some Girl Named Tom fans on facebook complaining about how they shouldn't have won when THEY are the ONES who VOTED for them to win the whole thing in the first place and called them the winner. They need to make up their minds. If Wendy wins, other people won't be happy while youtubers and people from blogs would be happy. Jershika wins facebook will complain about how it's rigged and all while her fanbase would be happy, if Paris won, some would be pissed while his fans would be happy, if Hailey wins facebook would be angry while her fans would be happy. No one is ever satisfied at all. Country fans were pissed off when Maelyn won the show too cause they all wanted Gyth Rigdon to win it all and thought he was a billion times better than she was. I've supported this trio since Day one and knowing that they have a sad story behind them becoming a trio with their Dad being diagnosed with terminal cancer just wants me to support them even more even tho I'm in the suburbs of Washington DC. As for the negative comments in regards to GNT's win and their journey on the voice as a whole, I'm just absolutely appalled and very upset with what's going on in terms of that because 1. GNT is a talented trio, considering how well they did in their blind audition, battle round, and knockout round as well as live performances. I just do not understand why some people are claiming that they are bad singers because us GNT fans just flat out disagree with that and in my opinion those GNT haters have bad ears. It's such a shame that we GNT fans are having to deal with this nonsense because true fans of the voice like us have committed our time to watching this show every week and even watching GNT deliver great performances week after week and in the end, those comments from the haters just cannot be appreciated. Oh for sure! GNT just made history as this is the first time we've ever had a trio advance to the finale and win the show. I have to tell ya that I was so torn between GNT and Hailey Mia this season to the point where I just couldn't decide between the 2 Especially since Hailey kept getting better week after week and that GNT's harmonies were absolutely incredible not to mention that I even got Lady Antebellum vibes from them as that's the only trio that GNT reminds me of.

Reminds me of the acapella group Pentatonix back in 2011, they won The Sing Off and a recording contract but shortly after the company dropped them. So they took to YT and promoted themselves and now are world famous with 3 Grammys and multiple platinum and gold records. Girl Named Tom has that same potential I think.

So tired of hearing it’s the Voice and not the Voices. Do you realize how much more difficult it is to perfectly sync up three voices vs one? Yes, it’s not fair, but the advantage goes to the solo artist, not the trio. Get over it people!
I would add that the solo artists normally had more help from the band and backup singers.

I've seen some Girl Named Tom fans on facebook complaining about how they shouldn't have won when THEY are the ONES who VOTED for them to win the whole thing in the first place and called them the winner. They need to make up their minds. If Wendy wins, other people won't be happy while youtubers and people from blogs would be happy. Jershika wins facebook will complain about how it's rigged and all while her fanbase would be happy, if Paris won, some would be pissed while his fans would be happy, if Hailey wins facebook would be angry while her fans would be happy. No one is ever satisfied at all. Country fans were pissed off when Maelyn won the show too cause they all wanted Gyth Rigdon to win it all and thought he was a billion times better than she was. They called it rigged. Facebook is so full of hate and they are all old grandmas who has nothing good to say.

watch ryleigh and holly‘s instant save and the performances leading up to it and you‘ll know why they were eliminated. gnt did something special that we haven’t seen on the show before while we have, in fact, seen many incredible powerhouse soul and pop singers. the votes were clearly split on wendy/paris/jershika while gnt had a lane on their own. bekah was vocally more consistent that holly, jeremy and ryleigh. instead of spreading negativity, go support all these artists you just mentioned.

I've supported this trio since Day one and knowing that they have a sad story behind them becoming a trio with their Dad being diagnosed with terminal cancer just wants me to support them even more even tho I'm in the suburbs of Washington DC. As for the negative comments in regards to GNT's win and their journey on the voice as a whole, I'm just absolutely appalled and very upset with what's going on in terms of that because 1. GNT is a talented trio, considering how well they did in their blind audition, battle round, and knockout round as well as live performances. I just do not understand why some people are claiming that they are bad singers because us GNT fans just flat out disagree with that and in my opinion those GNT haters have bad ears. It's such a shame that we GNT fans are having to deal with this nonsense because true fans of the voice like us have committed our time to watching this show every week and even watching GNT deliver great performances week after week and in the end, those comments from the haters just cannot be appreciated. I don't know what else to say other than that they just have to be supportive of every artist, regardless of whether or not their favorite artist won especially since GNT is in a situation where their Dad has cancer and is trying to stay with their family for as long as possible and because of that, anyone who is hating on GNT just because they won just isn't a kind hearted person. Ain, you've made a good point that us GNT fans agree with and ill be keeping this trio in my thoughts and prayers as they continue to deal with their Dad's situation.
Adding onto my initial comment, I have so much respect for every artist on this show season after season and I just want to roll my eyes in anger when I come across a negative comment about any talented and beloved artist on this show because it's just absolutely ridiculous. I understand that everyone has their own favorite artist every season but you just really need to be supportive of the other artists whether they are your favorite or not because if you don't, you will get backlash from people who are fans of that particular artist you are being so negative about and trust me, that's not what you want to end up with.

Honestly no idea where you are getting this Hate from? They Stole the show and made it their own each and every week. They were so humble in every step. I can also state a FACT that they are incredible people as my wife and I had an Amazing Pleasure in meeting them on the airplane out to LA back in October. Such amazing human beings in every way...
