Nice walk and good weather for it. I grew up in Horden but left in 1978 and only just moved back to Durham recently. I got to your site looking for walks around the Pennines as I now live close by near Crook and intend getting out there something I haven't done since leaving school, wandering about lost on the Pennie Penninnes as an army cadet. Thanks for your videos they are very entertaining.
Is it possible to get a detailed map of easington colliery to seaham coastal route as I would like to do the walk with my children on bicycles as I've forgot the way I'm a deanside lad live at plee now thanks for your videos love to watch hope you can help
Hi, appart from a detailed walkers map the only ones I know of that deal with the East Durham Coastal Footpath is the selection of downloadable PDF's that can be found here, which also include some information about each area, hope they help 😊 durhamheritagecoast.org/our-coast/things-to-do-and-see/walking-the-coast/

Excellent video, ex-Seaham Lad, Canada. I miss the old place.
Thanks, it is still a lovely place and sure if you visit sometime you will find not much has changed 😊

How many miles have you walked that day 🤔
The whole hike took 11.25 miles from Noses Point to Crimdon Dene, approximately 8 and a half hours to complete it.
