Southern New Hampshire hiking day trips for dogs

We had a couple of great day trips into NH the past couple weekends that should be on your to-do list. Especially if you have dogs as these were very dog friendly trails.
First stop was just outside of Hooksett, NH to Bear Brook State Park. Tons of trails here to explore which is good. A lot of mountain biking to be careful of if you’re off leash with the dogs.

Dog friendly INSIDE! Don’t see that often so we enjoy the visit here. Beer was really good. BBQ next door for eats.
Day 2 in the video we went to a town forest just north of Exeter, NH that was nice as there was two branches you could take that both had their own trail systems in them. We have come here a few times now and probably got a few more visits before we’ve seen it all.

Large patio out front that had big picnic tables the dogs could chill under. Signs boasting about the burgers everywhere but wasn’t quite hungry enough to dip into that. Will come back to try the burg.
