Favorite cannibal corpse song. I gravitate to slower death tracks and I love how this starts out slow then you're just blasted with the speed in a huge powerful outburst.
Check out "From Skin to Liquid" of the same album. Others you may enjoy are: "Condemned to Agony" off Bloodthirst "Rotted Body Landslide" off The Wretched Spawn "Infinite Misery" instrumental from Kill album and one of my favs that only CC fans seem to know about since it isn't from Tomb of the Mutilated is the song "When Death Replaces Life" from the Gore Obsessed album. This is closer to Gallery of Suicide in terms of tempo changes and overall groove. Hope this was useful to someone.
prolapsed yeah Cannibal Corpse should play these songs they haven’t played in a really long time: Shredded Humans, Mangled, Buried In The Backyard, Bloody Chunks, The Undead Will Feast, Rotting Head, Rancid Amputation, Meat Hook Sodomy, Butchered At Birth, Vomit The Soul, Living Dissection, Innards Decay, Under The Rotted Flesh, Entrails Ripped From A Virgin’s Cunt, Split Wide Open, Beyond The Cemetery, Necropedophile, Post Mortal Ejaculation, Pulverized, The Bleeding, An Experiment In Homicide, Force Fed Broken Glass, She Was Asking For It, The Pick-Axe Murders, Return To Flesh, Mummified In Barbed Wire, Monolith, Orgasm Through Torture, Absolute Hatred, Relentless Beating, Eaten From The Inside, Gallery Of Suicide, Every Bone Broken, Stabbed In The Throat, From Skin To Liquid, Dismembered And Molested, Centuries Of Torment, Chambers Of Blood, Blood Drenched Execution, Headless, Crushing The Despised, Unite The Dead, Blowtorch Slaughter, etc.
@@w0rm1nfested buddy, it's a comment section on social media, nobody "asked" for any of our opinions. downhill is relative, i'm not trashing the newer stuff, i just rate early george stuff higher. I think it should be the right time to declare this vhs/dvd one of the best rock/metal live recordings ever. still kicking ass after 20 years. And I have this on VHS and DVD, forever probably.
After Death, the best Death Metal band ever.. They have the essence of the genere, the perfect growls, heaviest guitars, blasting drums and the Bassgod Alex Webster !!
Muskuss As much as I love Death, after a while they began to stray from pure death metal and got extremely progressive metal with some very screechy vocals. Cannibal Corpse has only stayed their true death metal and with that I think Cannibal Corpse is better.
fucking amazing bass player, the only problem is not enough people listen to Death Metal in general so the excellent instrumental talent this band has doesn't get much recognition.
in terms of sound(guitars, bass, drums and vocals) this is the version of CC that i like the most, this exact performance right here, the way these chords ring out and the palm mutes and the drum patterns and vocal FUCKING BRUUTALLL I LOVE IT
@FREESHADY Webster is the boss in that band, but he doesnt do all the interviews and tell the media, the news..He's a real musician, that focus on his instrument, and is without doubt one of the most skilled bass-players in Death Metal.. And THANXX for not having that boring baldheaded Owen in the band. He can play looser with the rest of Deicide and FINALLY the Hoffman-brothers are back, together in the new/old band Amon. Looking forward to hear them.. \m/
OMFG!!!! several months ago ive been trying to find out if Cannibal corpse is still touring ad it turns out they are this summer at mayhem fest my freind is scared for my life IM SO FUCKING EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
@TheKeithCarnes there are lyrics, this isnt just growl noises like the band Gorepoflesh, that band is really just growl noises, but the instrumental is great, but Cannibal Corpse has lyrics, you can clearly see Corpsegrinder is growling words, you just have to look it up to understand
Also, you're right. Fisher sounds lower just because he has a wider range. But Barness' range is like two octaves below Fishers. Fisher is just more flexible and can switch it up really easily. Sorry, music nut here. lol
Agreed, they both sound perfect for the CC sound in their own ways: Corpsegrinder is more brutal and aggressive while Barnes is more inhuman and demented.
CC Rules and you just gotta respect anyone who playes it because it is so hard on the singer (how the songs are sung in that voice has to kill your throat) and just the sure speed of some of the songs, I wouldn't be suprised if their fingers bleed.
really not wanting to start a dispute with you, but if you dont know what metalcore is, then dont judge it. thats what the poor, ignorant and weak do to things they dont know. CC rule! amazing song + great live performance
how many times do death metal listeners have to constantly explain that, look, death metal is different. The vocals are perceived less as singing are more as another instrument to accompany the brutality of the music. Because the vision of the song is something violent and atrocious, what do u think the vocals should naturally sound like? exactly.
does any 1 know if their going on tour any time soon so i can jump into a pit and prove to my friend that u cant die at a cannnibal corpse concert it would be even be better if suicide silence was with them becuz ive really wanted to see them and i cant believe that i missed them
Favorite cannibal corpse song. I gravitate to slower death tracks and I love how this starts out slow then you're just blasted with the speed in a huge powerful outburst.
Best song on album
Same for me. This is my favorite song. 🤝
These guys actually stand for Metal, all they do is Metal, and they still make new stuff, that is why i respect them.
not kevin barrett he should go back to his ranch and live with cows COUNTRY BOY
I personally think that Jack Owen's solo in this is briliant
Cole Daniels I wish Jack never shaved his head.
It sounds like BOB VIGNA of IMMOLATION!!!!! BOTH GREAT!!!! 😉😉😉😉
Better than studio version
@@Killepitsh yeah because of that dive at the end

God damned, great playlist @prolapsed
Awesome fucking suggestions man!
@@calvzee I was such fucking nerd back then lol.
This is the best song in the corpsegrinder era of cannibal corpse, so evil and demented sounding.
Festering In The Crypt,Is Better imo
I don't think there is a "best" and there really doesn't need to be.
I love this band because they are not "sold out" and they always do their best, pushing for greater with every album.
what do you think about the last 4 or 5 albums? Gore obsessed was peak, TWS was ok, it's downhill since Kill.
@Fausto_4841 L opinion but thanks for sharing (we didn't ask)

I personally think Torture was their best material. Alex was in peak form on that album IMO
What I love best about this version is that we can hear the superb bass line clearly. It's way too buried in the mix in the studio version.
The bass line is amazing dude !
For whatever reasons, a lot of mix engineers hate on bassists. I personally like to have a very present bass in the mix
Yes I was gonna say this. You can hear the bass well in this one.
Alex is a bass god
This is the first and best Cannibal Corpse song that I ever heard. It got me into death metal.
I think it should be the right time to declare this vhs/dvd one of the best rock/metal live recordings ever. still kicking ass after 20 years. And I have this on VHS and DVD, forever probably.
I was at the center of this show in Milwaukee, fuckin brutal classic show...

Real duality with morbid angel too... A mix of the 3 other!! 🤔
The big three of death metal: Death, Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse.
@@RaulRamirez-jv4rn The big four of Death Metal: Death, Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse and Deicide
@@muskussI’ve always had a difficult time deciding who the fourth would be between Deicide or Obituary. The other 3 are an absolute lock though.
The intro is fucking godlike. Awesome bassplaying from Alex..sounds great..such a mood-setter
Alex Webster is indeed a master of his craft...
fucking amazing bass player, the only problem is not enough people listen to Death Metal in general so the excellent instrumental talent this band has doesn't get much recognition.
This song can probably get a lot of people into death metal.
I'm amazed at Georges voice, I just don't know how he does it :\
Can't believe it doesn't hurt him.
i know i’m replying 11 years later but he false cords fyi
Dude has a 73 inch neck. That has to play a role in his voice
I really love 'Corpsegrinder's' vocals in this video. It's so spine tingling!
The intro riff is just soooo eerie
Absolutely love the solo here.

Brilliant change up for corpse slower and still supremely brutal .
My favorite song from that album!!!
my number 5 song from CANNIBAL CORPSE!!
This has gotta be the best CC song (possibly the song period) of all time, it got me into DM to.
Best concert I ever saw.
Damn 16 years ago and I'm still coming back to this classic booty shaker
Never really got the hate for this album. It was awesome.
Crazy i had this when it came out and was not to fond of it till i started listening to it recently
Blood drenched execution

I’ve always said Webster is to Cannibal Corpse what Trey is to Morbid Angel and Chuck was to Death.
That intro bass so damn good master😴🍾

the first song i heard for CC...and my favourite one!
gotta love those bass lines
The first slow riff reminds me of a more evil version of South of Heaven by Slayer. \m/
Was thinking the same thing actually. Good catch.
Pat and Alex are fucking legends
Man, people rave about geaorges windmill but Alex fuckin kills also.
from skin to liquid live show is also up... check it out
