One I built hundreds of these engines, and always put the journal at the bottom of stroke so to not fight the counterweights and can easily put on the caps! Two does not show pressing in the liner to seat it, want to make sure that filler band is all the way in! Also made two long puller bolts warped in shrink wrap to protect journal as I pulled down the piston group! Worked really well!

The alignment dowel pins on the connecting rods aim upward towards the front of the engine, as they should. At 3:14 however, when the technician shows the cap, he is installing the cap with the dowel pin holes aiming downward toward the rear of the engine. They won't line up with each other.
This video was made to demonstrate how easy it is to install a cylinder pack, since the piston & rings are installed inside the liner right out of the box. Love the way he uses a blade to get the easily damaged bearings out of their plastic wrappings.

How about liner protrusion..that one must check before putting the line with the seals?

So they do everything right and professional but do degrees with torque wrench and give it about 60°
I like the way He Works Nice and Slow the way it should be
Final Torque applying method is wrong....
The tangs are only for bearing positioning, bearing crush are responsible for bearings not to spin

No the bearing Tang/fang is for bearing centralization in the connecting rod not to prevent bearing from rotating

Did not check for liner protrusions they must be from 4 to 6 thousands or head gasket failure is a sure thing. This video is crap
