It’ s lovely to see sweet Rinske again! A farrier’s work is so absorbing to watch…one of the things that always wins my admiration is the way that a farrier spends extended periods of time in a controlled squat position, while supporting the weight of a leg, and securing the foot between the farrier’s legs. Wow. Just wow.
I think he did an excellent job covered all the details. I hope I can find someone as skilled and dedicated and humble as this man is. Please tell him I said bravo for America❤
Excellent work. The horses are blessed to have such a good farrier take care of their hooves. Hang in there too, Yvonne, You are blessed to have good doctors taking care of you! Be patient with your healing. Takes time. We know you are strong! Feel the love!
So glad that Yvonne is going better after her fall. She’s strong and will recover in time. But we continue to watch the older videos until she can put more out for our entertainment. See you in 2023 Yvonne take your time and heal.
This truly is a master farrier. His technique is different than what I’ve seen in North America, but he’s thorough and quick, and has an excellent grasp of hoof anatomy. Top notch.
This video is the first time I was introduced to your family. I was instantly caught up in the beauty and incredible miracle of the instant connection. Having been a foster mother to 5 children (who we adopted) I understand the jubilant feeling of "your mine and where you belong"! Continued prayer while you recover, Yvonne❣️
Hurts my back, my legs and I’ve got blisters on my hands just watching. A farrier I know just hit his thumb with the hammer, it smashed the nail and broke the bone. OUCH !!
Thanks so much for the donation info...... Been sick myself and had missed some of the info you shared today. Thank you so much. So much love. So much caring for our Yvonne Family.

She did have beautiful eyes Yvonne..Am missing all the older mares that were sold by watching so many of these old videos, great memories though. Am sure you are swamped again, but so happy with the news. We are so close to 5 M For Yvonne
Yes, I miss the mares too, but I also appreciate it to see them in these older videos and refresh my memories a bit😊 I was blown away by the news that Yvonne is home again. Really awesome news🤩 There are a lot of reactions, and I try to read them all, but so far I’ve only responded to 2 unkind/rude comments 🧹🚮😬 We’re very close to 5M with this video👍 And then on to the next one. How are you and YT getting along lately?? 🧡🌷
@@yvonnedelft9765 LOL I've been in YT jail so often last few weeks I've got my own cell. lol They have my IPO as a scammer, I guess, so they don't even count my views here, I'm afraid. Not sure why YT recommended a 2yr old video, but it was really interesting because I have never seen the trimming technique used by this shoer. I'm talking about where he uses the hammer to get the knife to cut. Our shoers hold the knife and pull it towards them with their hands to trim the hoof. If I were a shoer I think I prefer the technique with the hammer. It seems safer and less difficult physically and anything that saves a shoer physical wear and tear is a great thing. It might take more time to perfect that technique, but I like it.
I have always been amazed at how a farrier works with such big a powerful animals like this horse..... Some would think the hourse would totally fight this process. But I think the hourse has to feel like they can trust the person performing this work on them..... It's really a amazing and honorable profession.

Every time I watch this I cry because I see the pain in Uniek and you, Yvonne, and my heart breaks, then you see this tiny little tan baby and my heart becomes happy again because Uniek sees her baby for the first time!!
I’m been around horses for a long time and I’ve never seen a knife and mallet used by a farrier in the USA. Very interesting and seems quite efficient. While there are different techniques to trim a hoof, one universal fact the world over is the dogs on the farm always know when the farrier comes!
