I don't think you need alateron LBG to solo this. You could use an LBG with fire or ice, and sleep ammo. Just sleep bomb his horns during transition and that should stop him for converting.

I've been meaning to use elemental (obviously) lbg against alatreon but what happens if you run out of ammo and the crafting materials? Are you kinda stuffed?
Great informative gameplay 💙👏🏼 . I have a question : I am using the same set but with lunastra blaze LBG and instead of (free Elemnetal jewel ) i maximized critica eye skill . Is there any difference between lunastra and atlatreon LBG in relod speed ? I played exactly like you but did not use evasion mantle , he used escador judgment 3 times and i survived them all but eventually killed me lol T___T . Also i may let the cat provoke alatreon in order to spam him

I am going to out agitator skill ins tead of critical eye , probably the problem was (Luna blaze) because deviation was high . Hey thanks for your video. I have exactly same build as you. I feel that my DPS are very low compare to you. I dont know why. What Palico stuff are you using ? What meel do you eat ? Maybe it's just about skill but i need 30 min to kill it when you just need 10. Help me please :)
@@geminixz2872 ok thanks for your answer. My best is 27 min solo kill. I have no flute buff, and no meal attack boost (taking shield felyn for extra life). What are your mantle decorations ? I dont use escape mantle, maybe i lose some DPS using temporal instead.
@@geminixz2872 Yeah it doesn't look too terrible but because I spent 1000+ hours on MH on the 3DS it just feels way more natural for me to play with a controller. Probably the fact that you gotta rebind so much was another turn off for me.

Me trying to create a lbg build for my first clear on alatreon. *saw this video, got my hopes up. In the end, you would need an alatreon lbg. Lols .
Yeah, but I'm thinking I can do plunderblade runs until I get the materials for it.
I used soulfire rasp blaze for the first 2 clears and now I've the alatreon lbg but didn't try it against him yet

I'm not sur to understand your answer, elemental ammo have some pierce effect ? The hit is not limited to the first thing it touch ?

I'm surprised you can use PC controls so well. I can't use them for the life of me so I stick to controller.
