As someone who has put 2 years into it, I can say armour does not matter it would be better to just go with the higher tier gun. The maus setup gets destroyed pretty easy since everyone shooting APFSDS or HEAT. Get a nimble tank with a good gun.
having finally reached top tier, here is my ratings of each tier:
1-2: baby tier, everything is incredibly scuffed and janky, but decent, 6/10
3-4: game really begins, finally have a full variety of light to heavy tanks, still jank but 7/10
5-6: peak goofy gameplay, features many cursed super tanks like the tog, lots of fun with some new experimental gear e.g. stabilizers, 8.5/10
7-8: beginning of high tech, almost everything has stabilizers now, low tier thermals and some FCS introduced, early cold war esque, kinda sweaty but the modernish tanks feel nice, 8/10
9-10: early modern tanks, very sweaty and lots of sniping from long distances, but the tanks look cool. 7.5/10
11-12: you have finally made it to top tier. Too bad it sucks 3/10
the top tier now is less sucks tbh, especially there is finally actual thermals so night map or foggy map isnt that shit
additionally there is now large map so its kinda better for top tier to perform, the worst tier imo now is just 3-4 tbh

very stronk tier 4 light tank crusader hull, fl10 turret, and 50mm kwk 39 II it has a 4 second reload and an autoloader so you have the same reload rate even if your loader dies

i used to love playing tanmk but i stopped some years ago after i found out that the mods are pedofiles. one of them was a groomer and none of the other mods cared nor did they ever try to fix the nsfw problems of some of top management and also people who were heavily favored by the mods and devs

i do l3 with either 28mm moquito or 40mm pom pom, works quite well. Though a lot of the time its a suicide mission.
beware of downtiers. they can sneak up and destroy your tanks without you knowing
I also experianced tier 11. definently aim and click to destroy. not fun once they decide to camp near your spawn

So one time in advance to yew kay i was using sturmtiger and near my spawn i wa heavily damaged with barely any working modules and i was surrounded by like 4 enemies but somehow my tank managed to deflect the shells even on the sides (the sides are really flat and vulnerable to shells, and the ammoracks are on the sides) and it kept on deflecting and deflecting until my modules repaired and backup came (this was when mg was added)
I personally go crazy with the l3 with the 60mm spagat

I got top tier a year ago (before 11-12 tier) and owned every part in the game exept dailies. Now i have to buy all new parts and complete next dailies. Sadly i missed the dailies with fake abrams (i really wanted its unmanned turret) but at least i have a 380mm and tow turret (it was removed from the shop)

for tier 6 i would also recommend 60mm SPAGAT

the best Setup has got to be the FV107 hull with Shield turret and tier 9 TOW

i did get motorcycle tho, was grinding for stuff for video at that time(ion like using it tho)
@@Stuk._. Then you should have the shield turret? I believe the shield turret was part of the motorcycle daily rewards. The motorcycle ATGM has 1000mm pen plus it can top attack. But the aiming is a bit wonky. You have to aim at the ground a bit for the atgm to go in a straight line.
wait isnt shield turret the daily reward same with the car month? and i tried motorcycle, i prob still wont use it again :clueless:(died too badly)
What's a good light and medium tank setup for tier 5 to 6?
for hull id suggest AMX 13, ELC or M18 or MMWT(tier 7 one), and for turret pick some turret with fast traverse and high reload rate(better have stabilzer), at last for gun id say reload>pen>caliber
@@Stuk._. what about tier 7 to 8 light/mediums? What turret with thermals do you recommend? (Currently running with the amx10rc)
dunno i mostly use Leopard 2K or ANX 30 for that.
one have no FCS and one have no stabilizer so its your choice

well i had premium at that time so thats extra 50% and additionally there is booster which gives another 50% with 2k robux(last forever), consider getting them if you can

@@Stuk._. There is a T7 90mm gun with APFSDS. It is the BK90, and is in the blueprints shop.

@@robloxserversded yeah, and for me its not even the difficulty of advancing, its just frustration at the consistency of the game
i have a maus hull with a t-55 turret and a 183mm cannon, its very powerful and can DELETE tanks... if the game doesnt botch the round, either having it do zero damage or just delete them
and its not doing zero damage at places where it could do zero damage, it just does zero damage for no reason
oh and autocancer (autocannons EUGH)

@@Stuk._. idk what exactly it is but if I try to play Roblox it just runs in the background and nothing pops up, and even if it successfully launches it just crashes after a few seconds
looks like something preventing it to launch, did you try directly launch the game with the exe and not by the website
