Orthodox Jewish woman here. I have been married to my WONDERFUL, KIND, SWEET, SUPPORTIVE and AMAZING husband for 15 years. I have never taken out the garbage and he has never cooked a meal. He still opens the car door for me (for which I say thank you every time) and I defer to him as to where we go out to eat on date night (he knows what I like and always chooses something that makes us both happy). Men are the Kings and we should treat them as such. They need that to feel good and it is NOTHING to us. STOP making life so difficult. Dress modestly, respect your husband and life will be GLORIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, we both need respect and love, but men need more respect. STOP FIGHTING IT

Been married for 11 years….my husband mostly takes the trash out but I do sometimes if he’s not home and it needs done. He loves to cook but so busy at work I cook most of the meals. Although he tends to cook the big holiday meals for our family. I love he’s a strong, masculine man. He’s a wonderful example for our son of how to be a man and our daughter for how she deserves to be treated. He’s kind, loving, thoughtful, and a protector. It breaks my heart the lies about men being toxic and women thinking they don’t need a man for anything. I agree they need to stop fighting it and believing the lies. Respect your self and your partner.

Im a woman and was in mortuary school and working in a funeral home before I got cancer. Its true that the field is now dominated by females, but only like 51% female 49% male. I've never heard of the reason being that its bc men have a tendancy to do untowards things to corpses. We do go through a bit of a vetting process to ensure those folks stay FAR FAR AWAY! They are fairly easy to spot and removed.
The reason I was told, which makes sense, is that throughout history across various cultures, women often played a role in washing and laying out the dead. Women also have a morr compassionate and empathetic nature that make consoling and assiting grieving loved ones a huge asset. We still need men for heavy lifting for sure! And contrary to belief, men can be incredibly empathic and compassionate. I worked in a funeral home that I worked in was split doen the middle between male and female morticians and staff.

The fact that he is also learning the basics of a trade are also something of value even if he chooses to do something different to the type of landscaping I do. I don't get distracted by good looking men. Even more so if I am in a relationship. I don't think of them in the way like ooh they're attractive.
But you're definitely not alone as most married people like eye candy. Very few of us aren't tempted. Looks aren't nearly enough to tempt me but time and time again I've noticed married people fantasizing about others who aren't their spouses.

Lmao my grandpa had me get up every Saturday at 5 to go do electrical work till he retired when I was 19 (got colorectal cancer at 65) and I was crawling under burned up houses in the freezing cold Saturday mornings most my mid childhood for 20 dollars a weekend and now that the old man is gone it's some of my most valued memories.
It isn't bad for kids to work. My example is a bit more extreme than doing house chores but still I know how to use practically any tool now and it was great bonding experience with my grandad.

They will construct your sentences for you - even think your thoughts for you, to a certain extent - and at need they will perform the important service of partially concealing your meaning even from yourself."_

I'm amused by the first lady. I quit my first job as a therapist because I was getting written up for what I called "graduating" clients. Otherwise known as doing my job. I quit my next therapist job because my coworkers were totally insane and got upset that I refused to tell men that they are women. I just wanted to help other military veterans, but being a therapist is not it.
