I'm not familiar with this band or the song, so this is completely new to my ear. This is a very tasty slice of Classic Metal that gets everything right - firstly a killer riff right off the bat. It's METAL, it's got melody, good structure, good production, and a sing-back-to-the band chorus, making it an ideal number for gigs, and a quality coda. It's everything Classic Metal should be and a must-own. My Score: Excellent 5*

@SuperMario0972 I have no idea what happened..All I heard was that her and the rest of the band didn't agree on the musical direction they were taking(who knows)...All I know is their last release was AWESOME!! This band could have finally gotten the recognition they deserve with her handling the vocals! I am extremely disappointed that she is gone,Not impressed with the re-release of eternal winter....

Why is is so impossible for this band to keep a singer?
The founding member / bassist fault?
The work this band delivers and the sound they make is always fantastic. Every note they play is gold. About the singers, Jo was great, so as Maggy and also the wronged Madie, but I can't feel the same about the new singer. She's in a terrible position to be compared to those three tremendous singers, and she's ok, not bad, but, in my opinion, doesn't fit that much as the others did. Even with the gutturals the vocals now lack agressiveness, power and are less involving. But anyway, I still love the band and will keep listening to everything they do, but at this stage I think they may possibly be held a step below their full potential. But hopefully they prove me wrong =]

Добрый день! Я тоже столкнулся с этим вопросом. Вот что выяснилось. Название Nightmare очень популярное среди музыкантов. Это группы из Японии, из Франции, из Польши, из Италии, из Америки. Данное видео это Франция, с новой вокалисткой, а песня из альбома 2009 г перепетая сейчас. Думаю что парни с YT просто ошиблись в таком количестве групп, поместив это видео на страницу к Японским исполнителям. Я пока искал информацию тоже попал на ихнию страничку. Да, есть путаница, но будем надеяться что они это исправят и сердиться сильно не будем. Желаю Вам хорошего настроения и побольше отличной музыки.😊🔥🎸
Now this is more like it! I thought Nightmare had a good thing going with Maggy. But then they messed up and went for a more poppy sound with Madie. This Barbara has a voice similar to Maggy, but she has the dimension of growling.

I was such a huge fan of Nightmare with their original singer. The band should call it quit instead of ruining his legacy with "reimaginings" of the songs he contributed to with such ear-grating vocals. If you're new to Nightmare, do yourself a favor and check out the Jo Amore version.

Well, this can't beat the original Version which is far better.
Really disappointed with this version, which falls far behind the original in terms of intensity.
From what i've saw in MetalNacht the voice is nothing like what Barbara does live, way too many band-aid effects have been added.
This new Nightmare isn't worth much...

I guess Jo Amore's ears should bleed because of this version. It's totally lame, especially what Barbara considers clean vocals.
You would then be surprised to know that Joe listened to this version and really liked it. They get along very well with Barbara and it's a real pleasure to see the Nightmare line up being so caring. Probably something people in UA-cam comments should do more often. You have the right to not like it but maintaining old quarrels is very inappropriate!

Seems uninspired and quite lackluster vocal wise. Im trying not to judge by one song, but so far i really think you guys should be begging Madie to come back
Très déçu de cette version avec une chanteuse bien mignonne mais qui n'incarne pas ce qui fait l'essence du MÉTAL ! Il y a 12 ans on a avait du punch, de la voix qui explosait dans tous les sens.et une vraie présence sur scène .Avec les Amore Mio on ne s'ennuyait pas. La différence est criante!!! Écoutez la même interprétation enregistrée il y a douze années.Jo et David me manquent horriblement .
Il faut sortir du cauchemar et les retrouver dans leur nouveau groupe !!

Hi, what are you doing changing your vocals to imitate other bands, you experience a decrease in quality and tend to imitate other bands' styles, haha very bad.
Sorry to say it, but this band is just not very good with the new singer.
