I'm Japanese fan and i read full manga and watached all animation series. ryo and kaori's translation in this movie is totally wrong. he never says he loves her nor darling till the end. kaori neither.
I know I read the manga as well and they never say such things. He also kisses her in the tv series but never does it in the manga (that we know of), yeah they took some liberties with the tv series and more with the translation. What I wrote in the video is what he tells her in the french version (which I just translated into English for the purpose of the video)
