I can tell by Jennie and Tori’s reaction that they hated how much Luke cared for Shannen and that is just so sad. You can tell a lot about a person when something happens that they are not prepared for and I believe their true colors came out. I didn't really like kelly and brandon either. all their "lovy dovy" scenes were stupid. brandon was best with tricia the figure skater, the girl from ny (at the start of season 4), and possibly Emily, possibly.
