Another super hard stage today. Our team had a plan to work for me and to try and drop Aaron Gates and the other GC riders in the crosswinds so I could move up on GC. unfortunately, yet again my teammates have let me down. I had the legs to win today no doubt but I was dropped by my own teammates when we tried to gutter it in the crosswinds. I ended up yet again outside the time limit but I'll be starting tomorrow regardless of what fine I have to pay as I am very confident with my crit form that I'll chalk up another win.
