I legit don't understand what Silat is trying to do there with the upcoming march to Falconia. Kushan Empire couldn't do anything against the Apostles, but maybe with the help of the witches and elves? Would be pretty funny to see some sort of "wholesome" turn of events when it comes to Daiba. He seems to be a typical scary black mage guy who uses forbidden magic and all. With the help of the witches he could come up with something that helps, without going back to the Daka and Pishacha. Also curious to see what they'll do with Zodd and Grundbeld. I can see one of them throwing away their weapon when Griffith dies. Or Zodd vs. Guts in a clash of pure human strength is going to be the after-battle of the story, after the conclusion.
Turkey is a bit west of where the actual Kushan Empire ruled, but it’s not far fetched to imagine they migrated that far west. The land would have gotten exponentially better the further they traveled, coming from the east originally.

I imagine this is berserks version of Istanbul I had always this theory of mine that berserk actually is set in an alternate history so it’s possible that this is supposed to be the real Islamic Hagia Sophia. Or an alternate version of it We have not encountered a lot of the faiths different from the holy sea.

From the beginning of Berserk, Griffith is always the one who fears things that are out of his control, while Guts is always the wildcard that no one could control or predict what he will do. Therefore, Griffith is always after him and Kushan feels insecure towards him and locks him up. Consistent as always.
the cell guts is in looks almost identical to the cell he was in with chitch - perhaps this is an intentional parallel given the revelation about spirit trees tethering astral creatures to our world, perhaps guts will realise that chitch never died - the knowledge that he was able to save one spirit might be what he needs to push forward
Daiba isn't corrupt. He's a mage like any other mage. The fact that he's Kushan doesn't make him less than the Elfhelm mages. His knowledge might help Guts rein in or even control the Beast of Darkness.

shierke lost in astral plane could also be the key of finding & releasing Caska from her deep slumber hostage situation. Guts need to fully mastered his berserker armor upgrades fully somehow, maybe with the help of Daiba using prana or inner chakra (inner darkness control)?
He will most likely master the armor with the help of Daiba and SK. The issue is as it stands his sword can't touch Griffith. They may infuse his behelit into the dragonslayer like SK did with his own sword

Moreover, I would say the opening panels is describing the awakened Beast of Darkness sweeping Guts' ego away, yet Schierke is being there to hold his self. I think this would set up for a detailed introspective conversation between Guts and Schierke in the future chapters, which would be important to both protagonists' character development. Perhaps Schierke could really locate the exiled Elfhelm inhabitants during the process
So overall the chapter imo was a solid 7/10 Some positives- Great Art(I love the art with this one, puck, rickert ,silat, schierke and the initial astral layer scene with guts and schierke Pacing. They are not wasting time and addressing plot points which is good to see story progress considering the long 5-6 month. Negatives- They definitely aren't trying to weave the story properly. Excessive use of plot conveniences like the ship getting drifted away, and how did guts end up in astral realm?Simple answer- We don't know and I don't think they are going to address a lot of points too. Stupid character reactions. Weird it had the best artwork so far yet had very odd facial features. When silat announces war...the faces of serpico and farnese like it feels so weird. A nitpick but i just dont like the village of kushan is very "indian enough". The entire thing with rickert and puck. what's up with isidro too? He was initally heartbroken and now he feels like he is going to fight in a war,pissed off from everything. Puck forgetting rickert? Like yeah Miura didn't use puck to fullest since Lost children but let's be honest Puck forgetting about rickert is really stupid. I am still hyped up with Guts and dragonslayer reunion but I want more CASCA scenes!!!

I was just a little disappointment by how short it was but not really surprised since it's been like 25 years since the chapters used to be wicked long. We are moving pretty fast though we went from knowing nothing to now all of our friends have been conscripted into the Kushan army and now we are about to face Griffith's men head on. Hope gut's can get out of his head before Griffith and his demons get a chance to kill everyone.
I'm so happy that the art has returned to almost it's original form. It's REALLY nice to see cause I was worried. Hope that the art stays consistent to this level cause it was GREAT to see it looking so freakin amazing again!
What i can say is that this part of the story is since the last chapters that wete creatung under the supervision of koji mori, the story would likely go on a similar path to stories like the story of rama, krishna, and dantes inferno, but only in vague similarities, as how they use that infered insperation for this arc and beyond is up to studio gaga. We have seen berserk being taken on various directions that had definitely had taken insperation from mythologies of old such as gilgamesh and king arthur, to written historical accounts such the the vandals, and joan the arc.
There's a festival in Germany called Walpurgis in Schierke (there are videos on yt), and they all pronounce it like "sheer-ka." I know I pronounce a lot of words incorrectly, but I'm fairly certain this is correct.
They are obviously rushing to the end quite quickly (in terms of narrative at least) which I’m fine with. I just hope they don’t also rush the final battle between them and falconia.
Good chance Shierke went into world tree to go rescue Casca from her current state. As it currently stands Griffith's army is easily stonger. Guts will need a magical upgrade to challenge him. As of now he physically cant even touch him, unless they make Griffith mortal again. SK will make an appearence for sure, this time probably to Casca (who also will need an upgrade).

Good chance Shierke went into world tree to go rescue Casca from her current state.
As it currently stands Griffith's army is easily stonger. Guts will need a magical upgrade to challenge him. As of now he physically cant even touch him, unless they make Griffith mortal again. SK will make an appearence for sure, this time probably to Casca (who also will need an upgrade).
