Go sweden. Fredrik Johansson is very strong. He lift deadlift raw and he lift in training 360kg 5reps
Lifting 360 for five is great but this is a ladder some are able to lift 400 and not even able to finish the full set
Luke's a good call. He's on fire for this one.
I think Luke has a great shot with these events. Now he deadlift has improved he has no weakness in this line up.

I think Fredrik will stun a lot of people. He's the strongest in Sweden. And looking at recent training footage he's in good shape

I see Shane fighting for 3rd too but all of these guys are going to worlds and may want to stay healthy.

@@boostedchicken001 he's got some good events and his deadlifts gotten better. With some jockeying he could fall 5th but if he's in good form for this and worlds, he's gonna be a force to be reckoned with.

I was really impressed with Ondrej last time I saw him, so much power at such a young age. He's the kind of guy I would not at all be surprised to see suddenly win a major comp unexpectedly and then be a consistent podium finisher for years like Oleksi or Mateusz.

Something I love about the sport of strongman is that I never know who to root for. For pretty much every competitor the more I see of them the more I want them to win all of the athletes are pushing themselves so hard and have such good camaraderie between each other.
It would be great to see Luke or Oleksii win it again.

I think this is the best opportunity for Luke to win, the events favour his strengths, his training is looking good, his deadlift has massively improved, he managed the 400 kilo in UK’s strongest man and he podiumed, so if he is going to win a tournament this is his best shot. Alexis is always a good shout but as we know these past couple of years he has been defending his country so training won’t have been to the level he would normally do, although his physical fitness will be better so I can’t rule him out and I think Shane Flowers is going to podium. So Luke first, Alexis Second and Shane third👍🇬🇧

He is training again and attending physical therapy. He is posting a little bit more on Instagram. He's been working on range of motion which is seen in his videos
i think Nicolas could do well i watched the year he won 105 worlds hes a great deadlifter and viking presser and yoker it seems hes still very athletic from his U105 days the unknown is the nicol stones

Of course Pavlo is the strongest man. I'm sure that he will defend his title. Luke is a little old and not so fast. Oleksii has bicep issue and bravest heart. Respect him for taking part. So it will be easy work for Pavlo.

I love Oleksii and I would love to see him win ESM again. Unfortunately, his performances lately haven't been consistent, which is probably due largely to injuries as he's struggled quite a bit with chronic injuries, but it could also be due to disruptions in training. Regardless, I would love to see him win again.
Luke Stoltman seems very likely to put in a strong showing and seems like a definite contender for the podium. Of course, the lineup is pretty strong for this contest and there are a number of guys who could contend for the podium if they're in top shape for this contest.
Cambi is very much the underdog i think he'll get great points on viking press and thr car walk
Also of all deadlifts the ladder is probably the best event for him.

Im surprised by my own prediction but....yeah I think Loz hit it right on the head. It's kinda weird to put Luke above Novikov but I just have that feeling this year. He's almost a master but he looks better than before. Maybe with different events it would be vastly different but with the current events Id say
Luke or handsome Pavlo (1st and 2nd) and then Novikov or potentially a surprise contender if Novikov does poorly
They need to build bigger podiums..... you want to put many athletes up there 👍☀️👍.

I'm surprised by the amount of people that have Nick Cambi on the podium. Ddidn't he come 10th at OSG, or has he done another competition since then?
As an older guy (and I do mean older) and because he seems like just a genuine good guy (not that others don't) I'm always pulling for Luke to do well... And he seems more focused and hungry as of late. So I'm really really really hoping he gives his all and takes the win here. I know it isn't the stage that World's is, but I think this is a better focus for him. And I'd love to see him regain this title.
I think that novicov could do well, but I think injury or maybe mental fatigue has knocked him back a bit and he doesn't seem like the novicov we are used to seeing.

Luke Richardson is injured and I think wide Pavlo had a really bad possible career ending injury. Might be wrong about Pavlo
Pavlo was in a really bad car accident. I think he will be back, but it's going to take some more time. Fortunately he's young and ridiculously strong.

What do you think that "Europes Strongest man" is held last 10 years or so always in UK. Pros and Cons? Surely it does not help grow the sport and sucks for people outside UK. No other sport I can think of that has "Europes" always on same country. Not even sure it has right to be called europes strongest man as it it always in UK
It's called Europe's strongest man because the athletes in it are European. Nothing to do with where its held and although I understand your point. It is a Giants live show and you must understand from their perspective, if they can save money not paying for the entire crew plus kit to travel around Europe then they will. They are based in England after all.
