This music brings tears to your eyes bcuz u WISH u can go back to that era.. was just the best of times
Oh WAIT!!!!!!!! The song continues!!!!!!!!!! This is not the end. Please listen to the album version. The best part comes when the video stops,.. you get the Whailing sound of the electric guitar,... and michael start doing his magic on vocals. Oh man,... the best has still to come
I was thinking the same thing
one of their best. that Philadelphia sound at its finest.
Powerhouse song written by Gamble and Huff. This is off their CBS records debut titled The Jacksons in 1976. That was one of my first albums. Every song is 🔥 on that album.
Every. Song. Bangs. "The Jacksons" is a classic album.
i know Im asking randomly but does someone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any assistance you can give me
@Fox Kellan Instablaster :)
@Avery Jagger i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Avery Jagger it worked and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass :D
My favourite Jackson’s song. Somebody already wrote about the ad-lips at the end. They are the best part of this classic masterpiece .
Michael's ad-libs towards the end of this song (check out the album version) is one of his finest moments🕺💃
WERD!!!!
Took the song even further, classic Jackson's song
This joint was written and produced by Gamble and Huff. They were the pioneers of the Philly soul music genre.
This song was playing on the radio, the moment I found out MJ left us. I had to re-discover my love for this amazing song...it took awhile, tho. But - my love for this song won the day....and this still is one of my favorite songs.
After leaving Motown, Gamble & Huff gave The Jacksons more of a grown up sound to their music.
This def has a Philly sound. Love it! 💖😊👍
Man, this song is so smooth! Michael was starting to hit his peak in the group with this one. You can see the moves and hear the vocals that would later define him as the king.
This is the sound of Philly Soul thanks to Gamble and Huff who produced this album. They also produced for the O’Jays, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, and Teddy Pendergrass as well as others.
Love this song!!! The Jacksons are Music Royalty!!!!
This song is dripping with that iconic Gamble and Huff production.
This is easily their best song, but you really need to check out the full version. This cuts out right when it gets good.
This is My Favorite Jacksons Tune off of my Favorite Jackson Album. When Motown gets that TSOP flavor
Top of the Pops was a British TV show. Your insight is dope. The record was produced by Teddy Pendergrass producers Gamble and Huff. This period is the bridge to them producing their own music in 1978
Breaking free of that Motown formula.
Putting on that Sound of Philly
I just heard this song for the first time recently too. I love it! 😊
Def that Gamble & Huff Philly sound....
easily my favorite Jacksons song but for real the extended version....when Michael gets his solo in....like you can FEEL it...the moment you know that he is gonna be THAT ONE
YES!!!!!! This is one my favorite Jacksons Songs .. Love It Big Time!!!!
That different feel is called The Sound Of Philadelphia.
The different sound you’re hearing was called the sound of Philadelphia. Producers Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff.
Great choice! Always loved the message in this one. It also makes me miss my roller skates.
If you watch a lot of early Jackson 5 performances, you'll see they were the BEST dancers!!
Don't sleep on the Jacksons, any of them! Especially their early career
i was 4 , and my aunts played this in the house so much. they were about the same age as Michael at the time. believe me the jacksons was a def household name.
The Genius of Gamble and Huff
Not full version of this song.....this is MJ in his full glory before any surgeries (Damnnn)....CLASSIC by the Jacksons just before MJ went solo
@JayTooSavy my opinion just as you are entitled to yours....he still a GOAT and my statement wasnt said for a debate....it is what it is.....he started the trend of black artists getting all types of plastic surgeries.....now its an EPIDEMIC....you cant be a female rapper today unless you get all types of surgeries to make yourself into a unrealistic Barbie doll.....just saying
why do yall bring up his plastic surgery as if that affected his music.weird
@@TheFargo116 Not you blaming Michael for other black celebrities getting surgery as if he was the first black one to do it......again yall are weird
@JC that's one of the reasons he continued to have his nose altered. And he was diagnosed with lupus after so he wasn't even supposed to get nose jobs because they wouldn't heal properly with the discoid lupus. The person k responded to wasn't talking about how plastic surgery affected his vocals they were making it seem he was the first one to do it.
@@TheFargo116 do you know black artists been getting surgeries before Michael got his in the 80s? Lol. Have you not heard of diahan Caroll? She had hers in the 50s.
Love this song. J5 had a lot of hits and whole lot of hits.
Gamble and Huff all day! Just imagine how the Jacksons would have been taken to even a higher level if they stayed with Philadelphia International Records!
REST IN PEACE MICHAEL JACKSON 🕊
This was the era with his brothers where you could see the musical dragon in him that had yet to be unleashed.
I like this nice and smooth. I think this song is underrated imo. It's one of my favorites.
I did a nice edit of this where I extended the breakdown to keep that groove going a little longer. I wish they had released a 12" back in the day of this, pressed wide and hot. That would have been nice. I'm sorry that I always reference underground clubs but I lived 95% of my weekends from my late teens, twenties, thirties and forties in those darkened dens and "Show You The Way To Go" was a underground R&B dance classic favorite. There's nothing like hearing these songs on a professional club sound system patterned after the Loft NYC or Paradise Garage NYC or Club Zanzibar NJ....you just get lost in the music.
Back when microphones had a wire. Imagine how hard it was to dance.
Always loved this song.
Boxie - "let me show you" is a great sample of this
The Jackson's had some good hits. There is a fantastic video out by them, called " Can You Fell It". It is really great
Wenn l'll hear this Music nothing don't matters no more 😍❤🎶🎶
Michael is the G.O.A.T!
Checkout the video performance of the Jacksons Enjoy Yourself
Michael with his fine self.
Learning their history will explain alòt for you. They were 150% professional all the time.

I prefer the live version of this song. In my opinion, you picked the wrong one.
Cut off too soon bro. Mike was just starting
