Pakistan is lucky to have honest and selfless military people who love the country. They have safely invested Pakistani money in Papa John's pizza franchise, real estate in London, Canada, Dubai, and an island near Australia. These investments have made sure that Pakistani people don't waste their money on luxurious items such as wheat flour, vegetables, electricity, clothing, and education.
I had unfortunate privilege to visit Lahore last year and it was absolutely terrible. The people wearing salwars, dirty street and every other person trying to be more Islamic than others. Whole notion and environment was very rigid. It’s as if u r always scared of people next to you. Also normal people have radical mindset. U never know when some one kills u in the name of Islam. Don't know now but back in the 80s I was transiting thru Karachi on my way to Mumbai but my flight arrived late hence I missed the connection.
The immigration allowed me to go to the hotel arranged by PIA but I had to leave my PP with the immigration office. Never heard of this rule anywhere.
Two days later I got a flight but had to go to the immigration office to get my PP back. The officer led me to a huge steel trunk filled with Indian PPs and simply said - "Find it and report to me."
There must have been close to 500 Indian passports in the trunk all in bundles with an Urdu script slip attached which I obviously could not decipher.
Luckily a peon helped me find mine and I had to rush thru immigration, customs and was the last to board.
Absolutely insane bunch of people and mad country.
I wouldn't visit that country even on all expenses paid trip. 😂
I agree with Hamid Bashani Saheb 100% -- and would add that Pakistan should make some effort to welcome and ensure safety arrangements for kafirs from India -- because the lives of kafir tourists (= Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, etc.) are in real danger (of being killed) in Pakistan. It has been so since at least 1995 when I visited Pakistan the last time (and was threatened with the sar tan se judaa treatment -- cut your throat -- as a kafir (non-believer, Hindu), which I was told was authorised by Islam). May be a first step towards encouraging more tourists would be to review the widely vaunted & popular "India ek dushman country hai -- ek non-Muslim country hai " and the Ghazwa-e-Hind doctrines😢😢

Indian tourists will come to Pakistan twice as many as in the world, but Pakistan should change its mentality against India. Every year 2 million Indians visit Bangladesh. 15 thousand Indian students are studying in Bangladesh and the big malls of Dhaka and Chittagong have all the beautiful stalls of Indian businesses. Bangladesh earns more than two billion dollars from Indian tourists every year. Now the Bangladesh government will transform the overall old infrastructure of all the ancient temples to the new look of the Indian pilgrims. A program to bring in 5 million tourists a year has been undertaken and a revenue of ten billion dollars annually is planned.

I was in lahore before covid ..the best hotel in lahore serena charged me 460 usd for 2 night...& quality of room & food was worse them any 2 star hotel In pahad ganj delhi ..& I met many western in that hotel who had same view
Why Mr. Cheema insists that Pak VISA to Indians on arrival is not possible, as India does not give VISA to Pak citizens on arrival. Does he imply that recent decision of Pakistan to grant VISA on arrival to 126 countries, is on resciprocal basis? If it is in the interest of Pakistan to attract Indian tourists, it should grant VISAs to them. India will consider VISAs to Pakistani tourists, if she thinks they will be assets and not liabilities.
