These are decent mowers. I just got another one off of Craigslist. Having two of something is always good. Built in spare parts.

Does the battery still last around 45 minutes after 6 years?

What exact model is the one you have?

Thanks for the video, good to see they are durable. I do have a question, does it always run at the same speed? My Greenworks runs slow unless it senses heavy cutting. I assume this extends battery use but I don't like it as it means I have to walk/mow slower most of the time.

I purchased ours just 2 days ago, my wife loves it, she's 4'9 and our grass was up to her boobs because our gas troybilt only lasted 4 months and then a gasket blew and it never started again it is a shame because the Ryobi was only $50 more at the time but wewere hesitant about battery powered tools and their lifespan... Turns out that the old tried and tested doesn't matter much anymore because quality control is almost non-existent...
I bought my wife all branded things and she has been happier with just random Chinese brands from Amazon in comparison

Still have original battery? Impressive, our and ones we biught for mower died in last two years. We two of the same models as you but they never lasted long and trouble with thick grass.Almost gave up on ryobi electoc mower and was about fry another brand. But last one we had has outlasted the other two and rhe larger battery made it mow bith front and back lawn?

It's disappointing about your battery. Electric mowers just aren't as powerful as grass mowers so in the deep grass i've certainly seen the same problem you mentioned.

@@URTechDotCa I am glad they make better batteries that last longer but they usually bigger and more expensive. I have thought trying another brand of electric mowers but they either more expensive, too cheap to good job, or don't have goo reputation. I had considered kobalt. But I'm told replace ent parts are hard to come by as sometimes they don't make particular parr anymore or have trouble with customer servive

For thick grass the only way this mower can do the job is to run it without the plug and without the bag. Just let it shoot the grass out the back - straight at your feet. You need to put a bolt or something on the magnetic sensor where the bagger goes. But yea. Not as powerful as gas.

That’s pretty good. I have the same one and it cuts terribly, bags poorly and it constantly turns itself off. Not to mention battery issues and failures. I’m back to gas as it is less hassle in my experience with battery mowers. Funny thing is, I totally babied the Ryobi.
