We've all grown a lot in 2020; Link just learned to use knives😂
Science tip: sweating cools your skin through evaporation, so if you're taking a forehead temp it's likely to be cooler when you're sweating even if your core temperature has gone up. That's likely why you both had gotten colder the second time you checked. It's also one of the reasons forehead temperatures are a bit inaccurate and finicky, so if it's really important you take a temp somewhere else.
Indeed, they should have used rectal thermometers because eating a large amount of food causes your body to redirect blood flow, and therefore heat, to the digestive system.
A rectal temperature is the closest they would get to core temp. They should take that into consideration for next time 🤣🤣
Probably beyond a GMM episode, but arousal is measured in the lab by Galvanic Skin Response which is a measure of increased skin conductivity through sweat.
Bring in the rectal thermometers!

I don't think the memory test was a fair thing to do while they were eating because of the well-known fact that Link cannot do two even two simple things at once, in this case, eat + pay enough attention to a short story to remember it.
