oh hell yeah, this is STUNNING. sansa is such a complicated character and so many people reduce her to a few moments. this is such an interesting take on her character, and a really interesting look at both sibling rivalry, inheritance, and who decides who 'deserves' what. love it! (i'd also be very interested in the look at robb's abandonment you mention in your caption, but I get there's only so much time/space/ability to convey so much) Thank you for this, it's gorgeous!

tysm!!!! i loved getting to explore a darker/more complicated take on sansa. like. she loves her brother! her brother tries to protect her (even though he can't)! her brother is only in charge bc he's a man! her brother keeps making dumb decisions and won't listen to her! she thinks she could be a good ruler, but the one who encourages her most to pursue her ambitions is someone she doesn't trust at all (aka littlefinger)! it's all just. wildly compelling to me. the robb bit will haunt me forever as the one that got away T_T. there was just not enough scenes for me to make something that made sense, even if i could find a place to fit it. unfortunately it seems doomed to be an idea that just rotates forever in my mind rather than that being something i can actually make. but HOO BOY i have so many thoughts about it. anyway, thank you again for your lovely comment, and sorry about this giant paragraph lol

This is GLORIOUS. I’ve also wondered what exactly Sansa would say to Robb if she somehow got the chance to meet him again- festering rage and vitriol would be justified imo and as much as I love dedicated, family oriented Sansa part of me is just like, don’t you ever wish to go feral? Go on bb, stoop to their level, you deserve it. Girls can have a little treason, as a treat ✨

Thank you for your comment!! I'm actually finishing up a vid rn that explores a bit of the robb and sansa situation. it ended up being more sad than angry due to the lack of supporting clips, alas. but yes. i support women's wrongs

Mm, no I'd say you vidded canon Sansa. I've waited literal years for this. It was beautiful, I've been waiting for someone to do this with all of Sophie's calculative and envious looks she gives Kit throughout the series. If only they actually went this route, it would have made sense. This was terrifyingly wicked. Thank you for making this I can die in peace now seeing her for what the acting and narrative supported her to be. Also, I love your simple transitions and my favorite effect was the throne transition with the fire switching to Jon being manipulated into betraying Daenerys. The way you perfectly timed "The people will call me Rex" with the crown set on her head was chilling along with her euphoric look as she sits on the throne. Second Cersei. Masterful editing.

thank you so much! i'm so glad the sequence of her manipulating jon into killing dany was understandable by people other than me lol

like okay GOD a lot of people dislike sansa for being “disloyal to her family” (which is dumb as hell but anywho) but I think people don’t seem to realize the way her brain works. she cares about her family, of course, but the reasons many of her family members have died is because of the missteps they made and tricks they fell for. she witnessed their deaths while held by the enemy, she saw their plans come to fruition and she learned exactly why these things had happened. and GOD the idea of her seeing jon’s missteps as king in the north, only having received the right to that position by the sex he was born to, and pressing and manipulating him to do what she believed had to be done for the greater good is INCREDIBLE. she is a lot more analytical than the rest of her family, she knows what she has to do to maintain and enhance her position and keep people united. she is a good RULER. I wish they really leaned into this more in the series, she is VERY smart politically and I wish they made her more “evil” and manipulative.
