This was my favorite so far. You put poor Darcy through it for his character arc! And the clues you left for us were so well placed as to be thiiiiiiiss close to being missed! Very very well done!! Thank you for your hard work producing these novels and audiobooks -- it is such a valuable gift!
I am looking forward to many more of your amazing books. You are a wonderful writer and I believe this is most generous of you to give us your titles on Audiobooks. Thank you.
Wow. This was quite an adventure for Darcy and Elizabeth, and well worth the time to listen. The conclusion was nerve-wracking but very satisfying. Thank you for sharing!
Wow. The whole way through I wondered what significance the necklace had being so cheap. My favourite scene was Elizabeth breaking Darcy out of jail, stealing horses and riding bare back. Darcy: “Why are you here? Do you realise what you’ve done?”. Elizabeth: “Some thanks for saving your life.” I knew then Darcy’s heart was lost completely. It is usually the damsel rescued by the handsome gentleman. I also loved Lord Matlocks comment that if Darcy had not proposed would she consider Richard. Jennifer I love how you are able to speak what the characters are thinking. Stevie I love how you make their characters alive so we put voices to them in our minds.
I so enjoyed this❤️ The plot throughout to the conclusion was wonderfully clever and so entertaining. Stevie Z did you justice! Too many favorite moments, but to name a few: Darcy’s wonder with the discoveries in Uncle Gardener’s warehouse (Watt & Wilberforce included) - Darcy’s reactions to Elizabeth riding the horse, and the alley kiss. I guess I’m partial to the romance lol. I left a short review - thank you, Jennifer!!
I’m now an official addict, I love your books & this was a particularly good adventure, will Wickham never learn! Between listening to the final chapters & finishing off some crochet work I forgot too make my husband a mug of tea, he’s out working in the fields, he’s finally got his drink now but he wasn’t best pleased 😂😂 never mind he should realise what I’m like by now. Many thanks & lots of love xxx
Wow! That was an amazing read! I remember thinking "This is my favorite part so far." Then the story moved on and took me right along with it! Did Mr Darcy replace Mrs Bennetts china? LOL Well done you! You knocked this one right out of the Ballroom!❤
Dimensions of Darcy series is definitely my favorite! I love this one and just finished listening to Darcy’s Wager and Fitzwilliam Darcy,Guardian on Hoopla. These are great!! Are there any more in the series? I think I will listen to them again😊
Thank you for listening! If you like the mystery and suspense in those stories, you'll probably love Fitzwilliam Darcy, Man of Fortune. It's on Hoopla and I have it scheduled to upload here in November.😉
Thank you for making them available, they are so enjoyable and you are a great writer. I love learning something more about Regency history each time I listen, thanks!
A very interesting story and their plight works well for Mr. Darcy's character arc development. However, I can't help but be bothered by the whole murder mystery and false accusation plot's lengthy and frustrating resolve 😅. That's because I have watched plenty of murder mystery or detective shows, both fictional and documentary, to see how easily Mr. Darcy's name could be cleared by simply tracing back everyone's alibis. Jane and Bingley should not have been arrested simply because they were with Mr. Darcy. The fact that they were battered, haggard, and Mr. Bingley sick, should have been solid proof of them being attacked. Not to mention, they all being located in a completely different location from where the murder had taken place, at the time of the murder taking place, would be clear for anyone to realize it would have been impossible for Mr. Darcy to be physically present and commit the murder. A pocket watch is extremely weak proof of anything. Items get stolen all the time. And if that is still doubtful, plenty of witnesses can confirm their alibi, like the keepers of Netherfield Park, from where Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bingley departed. Not to mention his sisters, and then there's the Bennets and Mr. Collins, who can confirm that Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bingley picked up the Bennet sisters. The sole presence of the Bennet sisters should throw the monkey wrench into Wikham's scheme to blame Darcy, not make them accomplices. It doesn't explain anything. Why would Darcy drag his friend and two ladies of the ton to his "crime of passion", if he didn't then how could he commit the murder, if he was with his companion at all times, departed with them at the same time, and appeared haggard in the village with them all at the same time? Then, they can also investigate the cottage the party of four were stuck at, and find an ample amount of proof there, like clothes, personal items, everything. Not to mention, the people who picked up Elizabeth, Jane, and Bingley from the cottage. Too many inconsistencies. Darcy has WAY too much evidence supporting his innocence and Wickham has only one, and a very weak one at that, plus, according to the book, he is quite the infamous rake and a gambler with depts yet everyone a little too quick to believe him, and doubt Mr. Darcy, who held a clean record this far. I honestly don't understand how this silly accusation can hold against Mr. Darcy, when it's clear as day to ANYONE, that there's no physically possible way he could have committed it, unless he can magically teleport! (Sorry, this is just my frustrated rant, not meant to criticize the story 😅😅😅. Again, I'm only frustrated because I've indulged a little too much in the detective genre. Had I not, I wouldn't have known any better.)
Wow, I appreciate the time you took to share your knowledge of the mystery genre, and I'm thankful that despite Traitor's weaknesses, you still found it interesting. My hope is that every story I write is better and more entertaining than the ones before it...
@@jenniferjoyaudiobooks Oh I couldn't stop listening to it. I even took my laptop to the bathroom with me so that I wouldn't have to press a pause button 😅. I love your books in general. Recently I opened up your channel to listen to something new, and realized I'm all caught up. There's like 2 stories left that I haven't listened to yet. Also, I'm currently replaying the Meriton mystery series all over again, because they're so good. (The death of Mrs. Bennet still makes me tear up.) (And thank you for not taking offense over my rant 😅. I only do that when the story manages to pull me into its plot, to the point, my emotions get involved, which was the case here.)
Love the books, but can't get the sequence of them correct. Basically reading them randomly -- plot lines are co sequently very confusing. Nevertheless, I'm enjoying them.
I'm so glad you're enjoying them, Peggy! The books in this series are standalone stories that can be read in any order you like. However, I do have 2 series--The Darcy Cousins and The Meryton Mysteries--that are numbered and best read in order 😉I hope that's helpful!
Toooooo Long! I love all your novels but this one. Too much an Long hours of terrible sufferings. Never came help or col Fitzwill8am, ,. The Long scene at the tavern with Wickham, etc etc. Imposible. 8 hay to push forward every time and Stiller nothing. Jane and Bingly in New Gare... Frankly... Sobre but too much. 😮😢 but I Stiller enjoy your other novels very much. And please make the internas dialogue, shorter. Thers too much thinking in fals3 complicaciones and sentimental. Greetings fron Chile. Sobre for my very bad english
Thank you for all your stories. There has not been one I haven't enjoyed. Self care to it's fullest.

Why why why is the reading SO FAST?
I'll check the audio file, but I don't think I accidentally sped anything up. Perhaps adjusting the Playback Speed in Settings would help?
