this is a nice video it really does show it in action better than any of the other ones I've seen. I'm glad you like it, how's it doing so far a little more than a year later? I've been eyeing this amp for a while looking for some thing about double my 100W, light weight and 4 channel. First thing I spotted in your video was that mixer, I learned how to do sound on the 32 channel Version so the nostalgia and muscle memory.... Memories.
It's great that you have a good experience with Mackie, they make pretty decent mixers. I sadly lost the amp due to a power failure,I did not have a power guard, so power went off and came back in a second and all we saw was smoke. I haven't been able to repair it as it requires the replacement of the whole board. The general perfomance was great and I will buy another one.
@@CroonerSounds well that’s a different failure mode, wonder if there’s any repair shops that might be able to do board level repair. Unless it was a spectacular failure. I learned that that lesson with a computer power brick..... Just about any Mackie board i have used was quite nice, there newer stuff has a bit of an overly large design. There analog stuff is still quite nice but they got kind of left in the dust with the digital world even though it still has its place.
@@imark7777777 I initially wanted Alto Live,I loved the design but when I got a good deal on Ebay,I bought the 16 Channels Mackie 1604VLZ3 Mixer. At first,I thought that it was a powered mixer. It has never failed me and the sound quality makes me love it more. The numerous outputs, are just great. The only limitation on this version is that we have limited type of connectors for the input.

I have never tried to loop it but I believe that is possible with all the outputs on it.My mixer has enough outputs for all amplifiers in use,so I have never come to a situation where I need to loop it.
@@CroonerSounds no reply hmmm. Behringer claims that it's a 6000W amplifier but the actual specification is way less. Sort of false advertising and lying to the customers. However it has a decent price point, if they didn't lie about the rating.

"Behringer NX4 6000 Watts Amplifier"??
Yeah... in my ass.
Power: 4x 860 Watt at 4 Ohm, 4x 440 Watt at 8 Ohm
You don't like the amplifier?I think its powerful though.

How do you know they are lying?
6,000 watts is total maximum (peak) power, 4 channels combined at 2 ohms.
@@imark7777777 almost every amplifier have less power
