I feel sorry for people who are victimized, look for help, and then get victimized by the "helpers". The cotton picking prom poster actually happened at my school a few years back. The girl not only was exiled by everyone, expelled from the school, banned from going to any colleges, the guy she asked also said no. She really fucked up her whole life making a single poster.
Side note: Not 100% sure that exact snapchat picture is from my school, especially considering I wasn't actually there when it happened. But multiple other students I know have talked about that incident happening at my school a few years back with that exact wording.

Just before the start of the pandemic, I remember going visiting my close friend's disabled mother and seeing all the other patients at the nursing home. I couldn't help but cry and couldn't help but talk to some of the people there.

The woman truly believed he had been rehabilitated in prison, and it's not wrong to try and help a person who you believe has changed, the fault lies in the person who took advantage of that kindness.

I couldn’t breast feed my kids. I tried and after 3 weeks of only breastfeeding and breast milk (pumping trying to stimulate body to produce more), my babies were losing weight. My kids pediatrician told me both times that I need to feed them with formula as well. I was on WIC after having my daughter and they tried to shame me into going back to breastfeeding only. I had several people (mostly women) that made me feel like less of a mom and a failure because I didn’t exclusively breastfeed. I suffered from postpartum depression, a lot of it was due to me thinking I’m going to fail as a mom or that I was a failure cuz I couldn’t breastfeed. People need to stop judging and start being more sympathetic. Unfortunately, there are people that love sympathy and having people feel sorry for them. So I get why people don’t always believe other people. But you don’t need to say or do mean, cruel, or evil things to other people.

As a mother who gave birth to a premie and watched as other mothers NEVER got their milk or couldn't due to drug use or medication they had to take to live or cancer treatments or whatever.. I watched as my son gained weight and thrived while other kids didn't. I pumped and delivered and gave back gallons of breastmilk to the nicu while my son was there and after. I received a dozen thank u cards from moms. And yes, most kids are OK, but some drop tons of weight without the EXTRA calories in formula, even with breastfeeding

On the formula thing: There is also the issue of some babies having medical issues and requiring hypoallergenic or specifically made formula for their issues. My mom had to put me on one that cost $40 a can in 1999. People are just buying tons of whatever they can and people who HAVE to use stuff like that are out of luck and their kids are suffering even more for it. Some are even getting sick from it, or having reactions that could end them in the hospital if their allergies are bad enough.

I have bipolar disorder and i have had the cops called on me by my parents because of my breakdowns. thankfully i was able to calm down and they actually de-escalated the situation and did there job. The things happening in nursing homes makes me glad that we didn't put my grandmother in a nursing home. We took care of her up until the end. She is no longer with us, but she knew how much we loved and cared her.

To Ailurus I can understand school problems as I will be starting high school and now my parents are telling me to join football even though I am not athletic just because my P.E. In the middle school talent show, and now I have to take these classes because otherwise they would badger, and guilt trip me into them.
As someone who just got out of high school, my advice to you is if you don't want to do football, don't do it and stay firm with your stance. It's a lot of work. if you don't like it now, you less likely to like it later on. It has it's perks but you need genuine enthusiasm and dedication for it. Don't take classes, clubs and/or sports teams you hate when you don't have to that puts to much unnecessary stress on yourself

A great example of mothers who cannot feed their child via great milk: my mother is Anemic, which got passed to me genetically. Our milk contains a chemical that is actually harmful to the baby that got me very malnourished when I was a baby with my mom, and I've been warned the same could happen to my baby. We HAVE to use formula if we want our baby to succeed. Therefore, it's depressing to watch all these people profit off such a sensitive item for people that may require it, but also may not be able to afford it

It actually happened to me on accident last week, I accidentally took a person's order whose last name was similar to the actual customer's first name. I couldn’t breast feed my kids. I tried and after 3 weeks of only breastfeeding and breast milk (pumping trying to stimulate body to produce more), my babies were losing weight. My kids pediatrician told me both times that I need to feed them with formula as well.
I was on WIC after having my daughter and they tried to shame me into going back to breastfeeding only. I had several people (mostly women) that made me feel like less of a mom and a failure because I didn’t exclusively breastfeed.
I suffered from postpartum depression, a lot of it was due to me thinking I’m going to fail as a mom or that I was a failure cuz I couldn’t breastfeed.
People need to stop judging and start being more sympathetic. Unfortunately, there are people that love sympathy and having people feel sorry for them. So I get why people don’t always believe other people. But you don’t need to say or do mean, cruel, or evil things to other people.
That’s horrible. You weren’t able to produce milk for your kids, and you couldn’t do anything about it. It’s horrible when people tried to pressure you to breastfeed anyway when you clearly couldn’t. It’s not your fault, you couldn’t control it. The best you could do is care for your kids and treat them right.

As a mother who gave birth to a premie and watched as other mothers NEVER got their milk or couldn't due to drug use or medication they had to take to live or cancer treatments or whatever.. I watched as my son gained weight and thrived while other kids didn't.
I pumped and delivered and gave back gallons of breastmilk to the nicu while my son was there and after. I received a dozen thank u cards from moms. And yes, most kids are OK, but some drop tons of weight without the EXTRA calories in formula, even with breastfeeding

I felt like a bitch and went back to apologize to the restaurant for what I did, but it's worse knowing people like him exist and do it on purpose. Somehow I haven't had an order stolen from me, and more restaurants here are requiring you to show a screen with the order info so it's clear you're the actual delivery driver, but damn that's such a low point to drop to for food
