Modders made a whole SA1 Remaster in Sonic Generations. That level of dedication is incredible.

I think they did code injection(?)
The QTE is part of a mod made by briannuuSonic and Skyth that restores the QTE function for Generations, present in some early Generations builds. The mod is still W.I.P so I assume the owner of this channel asked for permission to have the mod and put it in the Emerald Coast mod.
The mod, in addition to putting QTEs in Unleashed Project, will apparently put QTEs in Vanilla as well.
And yes, the mod is via code injection as far as I know.

Generations was supposedly going to have Dreamcast era Sonic in it as a playable character, so I guess this is a glimpse into what could have been.
Was it I don’t think so I think the only Dreamcast thing (besides the levels) was Ryan originally gonna VA Sonic

The way I heard it was that Ryan was going to voice Dreamcast-era Sonic, but because he's unionized and Sega doesn't work with them, they canned it and just had Modern and Classic Sonic.
Guess it's one of those rumors that ends up as common knowledge, even though no one can confirm it.

I rip it from SonicAdventureGenerations Mod from (Melpontro Team), so yeah there haven’t any single mod to get release.
