I feel like an Overwatch Movie would have that Marvel's Avengers effect. Once all the animated-shorts have showcased individual characters, the impact of an Overwatch Movie would be massive. The gathering and culmination of all the characters would be incredible.
What are you talking about, they said a while ago that they wouldn't ever retire heroes. Dunno where you heard otherwise, but it clearly wasn't a credible source.
+Xetren This was early in Overwatch's where this was said. They weren't against the idea of retiring certain heroes. Maybe they went back on it. Wouldn't be the first time they did.
I know everyone wants them to make movie or a series and id love that, but it's just not gonna happen or at least not to the caliber of these cinematics. The amount of detail in these is insane which means its expensive. So if they were to try and make a film Blizz would either have to take a HUGE financial risk to maintain the quality or reduce the quality of the animation to make a financially viable film. I just don't think Blizz wants to do either.
They wanted to make overwatch a movie at the beginning but animation is expansiv so thy made it a game with some animation shorts (also i think the Overwatch team is the smallest one or one of the smallest thats why they dont get that much money like the wow or diablo team from blizzard)
I don't know where you got that from, Overwatch was born from the "Project Titan", a shooter RPG that Blizzard was trying to do. Near the end of the project they realized it wasn't going to work out, so they transformed it into the game we have today.
in ending scene, word on hana's injured leg means "i always support you, d.va, i love you hana."
If Games are going to looks like this in the future... i dont want to die, Never ever
I could get behind a whole MEKA squad.
so that everyone can spam defensmatrix and bastion, soilder or hanzo players just delete them selfs
I could get behind D.Va.
The new Omnic bread in deed looks like from matrix with weapons.

No one said anything about retiring heroes. No one. Not even the crazy folks on reddit.

When she shoots own meka she should say nerf this! Than this video should be x10 cooler
The entire MEKA squad could be injured.
They're not.
Their mechs are under repair, seeing as only D.Va's mech was still operational.
#FRIENDZONED
