I listened to the this event live on the police scanner. The dispatcher did the best job I've ever heard of managing radio traffic and directing officers in a chaotic situation. It seemed to me that there was shooting being reported in several different locations simultaneously, or nearly so. Two individuals were sighted by numerous citizens and said to be carrying "long guns". One of these individuals was said to be limping; this description came in several times. A vehicle, which was described, was alleged to be involved, along with a location and direction of travel, and was being sought by officers. I never heard an office report hearing gunfure or seeing a suspect while I was monitoring. As to the shooter; all of the radio traffic that I heard referred to "they".
The problem is at the core of families . I am not blaming anyone ,but we need to take a close look at ourselves and how we raise our children and how us adults drifted from norms. My take is that we are drifting apart physically, there is no human connection any more, we resorted to connecting via “ social” media which lacks the basic human need for seeing and socializing. My prayers go the lost lives and my best wishes to the injured physically and mentally.

Look at the big picture, problem is not within the campus/schools. If it wasn’t campus it would be somewhere else. The origin of these tragedies has to be resolved…
MSU has its own campus police force and they are armed, they regularly patrol the campus and even hang around the halls. MSU also has emergency call stations around the campus so if anything happens and for some reason you don’t have a phone, hit the button and it’ll send the police to your location. This is a safe and secure university, it’s not lack of security that is the problem.
We have neighbours from Texas originally moved here in 2017 (not USA) they said they will always love there home country of USA and Texas but won't be going back they have 3 kids 2 are at university here.

My guess is that the shooter had something like a hand gun... Cause something like an ak-15 would've killed more than just 3. Unless there was almost no people at view for the shooter. I always said that hand guns should be ok to carry. If you have the correct training. Here's 2 scenarios. 1 A guy enters a bar with a ak-15... By the time another one shoots him he could kill 10 or more people Scenario 2. Same thing a guy enters a bar but this time with a handgun and start shooting... someone else has a gun and shoots him. He could have time to kill 1-5 people. 1 is always too much but there is a difference between 1 and 10+ I am not saying by banning those big weapons it will stop the mass shootings.. My guess is that the shooter had something like a hand gun... Cause something like an ak-15 would've killed more than just 3. Unless there was almost no people at view for the shooter. I always said that hand guns should be ok to carry. If you have the correct training. Here's 2 scenarios.
1 A guy enters a bar with a ak-15... By the time another one shoots him he could kill 10 or more people
Scenario 2. Same thing a guy enters a bar but this time with a handgun and start shooting... someone else has a gun and shoots him. He could have time to kill 1-5 people. 1 is always too much but there is a difference between 1 and 10+
I am not saying by banning those big weapons it will stop the mass shootings.. But it would make a huge difference.
Now the question is.... Why would a normal citizen need a weapon like an AK-15?

2. An AR 15 is a semi auto like most handguns both fire bullets as fast as you can pull the trigger.
Banning any gun doesn't solve any issues. Criminals don't follow the law.

Really? Students and staff are banned from licensed concealed carry on campus, so there were hundreds of people that could have potentially used their second amendment rights to stop this creep. The cops didn't help, the doors weren't locked, and there isn't security on campus. Since the "gun free zone act" passed in 1990 (sponsored by Joe Biden), how many schools have been targeted by psychopaths?
