My TV was delivered a week ago. tried to set it up last night in my bedroom but the remote doesn't work, at all. Three sets of brand new batteries tried. Was able to turn the TV on via the side of TV but I can't seem to set it up with out the remote. Any suggestions? I have an Xbox one coming today for this TV and I'd really like to be able to play.

I know my comment is super late but I fixed my element tv. (When it was stuck on channel scan) I had to plug my cable box into the hdmi port. Then hit source on the tv and hit enter on the remote. Very frustrating when I figured out the odd solution. You don't have to wait for the scan to finish. It's annoying because source won't work on the remote so I didn't think it was part of the solution.
What could have happened I hooked up a VCR/DVD Player to my 55" Element K TV wouldn't play ,Now Can't get TV to Program /Play ?? HELP PLZ ..TV only 1 year old .ON Cable Box .

Having trouble getting my tv to find over the air channels . Should I need a converter box for over air digital? Ran scan with " air " select and got nothing.
TV hooked up with all HDMI cables but won't receive signal from cable box, called element service and swapped everything and cables to different plugs and it's only the cable box on HDMI however it works fine on AV cable but that renders the HD pointless. Cable box was checked out by cable company to be good as well. Cables all new and swapped around so it not them either. Ideas anyone before it goes back to the store for a trade.????
what about the USB? Nothing is working. -_- It only shows the name of the files on my flash drive but never shows the actual stuff. Why won’t it work???

Richard Rutterbush you went into settings & completed a factory set? Should act like it’s right out the box once you do that. Looks like that’s the only place to set up OTA tv I’m not seeing a channel scan or anything unless it’s this set up wizard initially

That is my question also. Can you mirror or cast from your phone to this type of TV. I wish I had known this before I bought it. Oh well bad reviews for this one.
Bought it new at Walmart. it was a cheap price. Now after I hooked it up to my cable it will only recognize 6 channels...what a piece of shit TV...Why does a new TV have to be so difficult to set up...All the flat-screen TVs I had before set right up no problems and they were cheap also but they at least worked. I would not recommend this TV to anyone even if it was free. I RATE ELEMENT TVs as a POS.

I get 18 channels on my Sony tv on over the air. I hooked this Element up in my bedroom and only get 4 off the same antenna.

You have to plug in a tv antenna to get channels with an antenna it wont get any channels just saying try it youll see 😎👍
