47052 and 08713 working an MGR train at King's Lynn

In this video from our Ranwell Video series, we visit King's Lynn and see 47052 and 08713 working MGR trains. 47052 brings a train into King's Lynn, while 08713 is seen taking a train down the now abandoned line to the docks. Filmed: 25/03/1992.

I started train spotting at king's Lynn in the summer of 1978. Tennyson Avenue level crossing is where I used to hang around for the first few months before I started hanging out at the station itself. First time I went to the station I cabbed 37043 on the down Fenman service. It was then that I knew I wanted to be a train driver. I have now been a train driver since 1989 when i got my driver's check at Stonebridge Park in London. I'm now based at Crewe driving freightliner trains.
