    Thanks Terry. I learned something new today! I took one of my photos from the Philippines with 1000's of phone/cable wires. It took several minutes. It removed them but did not do a good job. I used another photo similar to yours and it worked great.

    Using the this other day on a 30 second shot. I removed the ghost people, but there in the middle was a whole entire person. Scared me to death. I went and removed them, but now, through your video I understand what the program was doing. Thanks.

    Thanks for such a good explanation on the new updates. I always appreciate how simple and easy you make it to be able to follow along with your tutorials. I have changed a lot of my work flow because of some of the tips that you have provided. The one that has helped me the most is how to download my images especially when there is a lot of them by using Photo Mechanic. I would love to see a video on doing and processing HDR images. As far as rude people I think we all run into them whenever there is a special location or subject but the best we can do is try to set a good example. Thanks again for all that you do to help all of us!!

    Really good, thanks! I tried "replace" earlier this week as soon as I noticed LrC had updated. I just wanted to replace a floor grid in a cathedral to match the surrounding stone floor. I tried repeatedly but it kept on replacing it with a different shaped grid. I just retried now though and it worked first time. I had "detect object" checked both times only today I just outlined the object as you say while earlier in the week I was highlighting the whole object.

    Just found you, and updated, thank you so much for making this video. As to the self absorbed, unfortunately I never forgive.I harbor it in my heart for YEARS. I used to tell them, nicely, but with the crude responses, I have given up. It's everywhere, in museums (!) people yelling and taking selfies square in the middle of the art. In Africa throngs of vehicles, noisy people and official rangers taking money. I feel for the wildlife, it's like they live in a zoo instead of the wild. Sigh.

      Well said Cheryl. Interesting enough, I was with a friend down on the coast photographing shore birds this morning. A wonderful event of terns coming and feeding their young on the shore. We shot for about an hour and half, with all kinds of opportunities. At one point, this guy walked up carrying his cooler and looked over at us and stopped. Then he proceeded up the embankment where the birds were and walked along the embankment until every bird was gone. Sat down and started fishing. Even though he saw what we were doing, he wanted to be right where our subjects were. The shoot was over. Pretty weird.

    Terry, excellent video. This may answer my question regarding why light room wasn’t removing wires and a car replacing a removal of a car which in my case I might have a shadow as you’re test show in regards to the flower pot

    Thanks for explaining things clearly so a newby to Lightroom can understand. If you have a gull as the subject with a coot right next to it, seemingly touching it, how do you remove the coot and retain all gull details? Thank you very much.

      For removing, there are some cool remove tools in LRC and if those don't work, Photoshop as new one's as well. Here's a video that might help: ua-cam.com/video/RTXXhZo3tHo/v-deo.html

    I watched another "new features" vid by another guy but bless his heart, he did not remind me to change my preferences and as a complete Adobe noob, I would never have caught it.
    Two questions: 1) In your last example of removing a photographer (that you are over!) would you say that the end result is nice enough to make a large print as good as if he had never been there? It sure looks nice on my 27" 4K monitor but that is not a big print:)) 2) As a complete noob, I'm still confused about starting in LRC (with a RAW file) and switching to Photoshop. Is the image that is now in Photoshop still RAW or should I do most of my processing in LRC and then just do finishing touches in Photoshop. Do you have a video explaining how I use ACR/LRC AND Photoshop together so I get the most?

    • @tv510
      @tv510  2 місяці тому

      Thanks for watching. Point 1). I would blow up the image and see if the resolution results are good for your image. Maybe even make a test print of that section of the image before making a print full size. Point 2) When you bring a RAW file into Photoshop, you are making a whole new file. You will still have the RAW file to work on, but in addition you will now have a PSD (Photoshop Document) to work on. 3) I don't have a video like you describe, but I might just make one. Thanks again.

    Thanks for the video Terry! Amazing features. And sorry you experienced rudeness - people can be the worst 😠
    For future btw, would love a video on tripods 🙂 I recently did a lot of research and bought the 3LT Charles 2.0, was missing an informative video in unique Terry style on the topic

    Thank you, Master! Do you think the "Delete people" function with generation enabled or in auto mode has limitations on image resolution (quality)? That is, in large remote areas, the image may be of poor quality?

    • @tv510
      @tv510  2 місяці тому +1

      It does work in a lesser resolution. My suggestion would be to try it and enlarge it to see if the lower res parts are detectable.

      @@viewfindermedia3188 Try this: Open the Adobe manager> click on Apps > then scroll until to you find Lightroom Classic (or any other Adobe program you want to update) and see if the button says Install. If it does, click it and it will start the upgrade. I hope that helps.
