I had a weird dream... I was in an amusement park. First I was biking there alongside the highway with one high school friend, then I was on a waterside with another, and then I was on a rollercoaster with a few of my closest childhood friends. Finally I got separated from everyone and wandered into like a Museum/Jungle exhibit where everyone was anxiously anticipating something. Eventually a T-rex stormed in and chased us all, but somehow I ended up on another ride and I got out of a roller-coaster train car. I noticed that Jeff Goldblum was sitting beside me; dressed like he was in the first Jurassic park with open chested black shirt and shades. He asked if I want to go again and said the next ride is on him, so I agreed. The ride went fast and we saw a lot of dinosaurs. When it came back to the docking area and we got out I told him I really liked him as a kid and he was always my favorite character in Jurassic Park. Around this time this song started playing in the background. I asked him if he wanted to go on the ride again and he said he couldn't because he had to get back to his family. I remember feeling sad and he just smiled and put his hand on my shoulder and said 'It's no longer 1998 kid, things have changed. It's time to grow up.' I then wen thru like a montage of everything that happened... or everything my brain thinks happened from the 90's until now. It felt like I was travelling thru time back to the present, while this song kept playing. Shortly after that I woke up and just felt like crying lol. Tears of both sadness and joy.
Posted 10 years ago. I remember your photo was younger. This was the 4th video I placed in my "Favorites" playlist still wet behind the ears on my first PC and new YT account.
I heard this song in American horror stories coven for the first time in years. Which made me like the regular version all over again. And then I I heard they had a trance version and I'm listening to this 12 in remix and I am surprised. Maybe it's just my age, I think they did better remixes in the eighties and 90s.
Sorry you are not feeling this Michelle.. I think for me a good remix is one that manages to hang onto the feel of the original track. For this song - I feel the simple loop is best . Also this remix was done in the late 80's i do believe. And it was never a peak hour spin.. however its PERFECT for late late night early am hours... sometimes referred to as "morning music" in the clubs filled by die hards.. ahh the good ole days..
