It’s March 29th of 2022 at 2:01am. Life for me is hectic, gas prices are up, and I get more fatigue as the days go one. This is my little escape from the outside world. When I lay in bed at night, I pretend I’m laying in bed next to a lover of mine; an old friend. It gives me joy because we used to listen to music like this and talk for hours. I wished for a long time that we could go back to how it used to be. I no longer wish that but reminisce about the good times we had, listening to this. Thanks much for posting this.

@freddie the kids I do the same thing. My only true friends are imaginerary. I feel like I reminisce about the past a lot and old friends I’ll never see again. Still can’t help but wish some were still in my life and we too could sit up all night listening to music like this and talking. But I also know they are not the same person I knew years even decades ago and neither am I so it wouldn’t be the same anyhow. I guess it all boils down to loneliness. Senior year, don't really know what to do with life, I want to do so many things but fear that I won't be able to accomplish any. Everyone expects so much from me, they only see a smart student, but they don't see how stressed I am. I feel a lot of pressure when people say 'oh your smart, you'll do fine.'' Although I didn't get the grade I expected, I lied, because they expect so much from me. I have companions but no true friends, I wish I could go back to elementary school where I had friends to laugh with, true friends where I could be myself without worrying of how I looked in front of others. I don't want to become a failure in life, I feel that life has so much more than just settling for one career, I want to experience everything in life. Sometimes I wish I had someone I could talk to, going to the movie theaters, getting some Boba Tea or play a sport. Someone I could lean on and express my feelings. I only have myself and my family.
