    For lunges Try having a longer stance, big chest, feet shoulder width apart when you bend your knees on the eccentric imagine from a side view trying to form a rectangle with your legs.
    Great workout there dude, keep it up !

    Just a humble opinion on the split squats: since they're an accessory and not a main lift, transfer all the weight onto one dumbbell and use your other hand to hold onto something (perhaps the rack). This will allow you to have more balance and room to play with you torso position, thus emphasising more glutes or quads, depending on what you're trying to get out of them. Also hold the dumbbell on the opposite side of the leg you're working each time: that should completely solve the space issue. All the best!

      I'll work with them this way for now as this is how they're programmed. I felt it in my quads the whole time and that's the goal! Thanks!
