You should make a video about the whole war from beginning to end. That would be amazing if you did that!!!!!
I second this. So few UA-cam channels cover this game, it would be really amazing to see an in-depth explanation of the war against the chimera.
I like the fact that at the beginning of the Chimarian War, infected human Chimaran hybrids were able to figure out how to make energy rifles and genetically engineer more of themselves to Curbstomp Russia.
I think it's implied in the lore that the Chimera are simply reverse engineering grey tech to get their equipment.

I never thought about it but it's very scary the Chimera basically wiped out the 2 greatest population super powers in Russia and China if the whole East got taken out.
The chemira are such a cool enemy faction. Remind me alot of the Combine from Half Life or even the locust. I need a resistance 4 or even a trilogy collection of 1-3
One of my personal favorites sci-fi FPS game. Heck, I actually liked the Vita game. Still sadden that they never made new games. They could be set in different parts of the world, following a new character from whatever country they're from. And seeing how they Chimera adapt to fight them.
Would love a remaster, or a remake in the style of how dead space remade 1

Burning Skies on Vita was quite an okay game, it’s just that compared to the other entries, it was quite simplified. Even Retribution, on the much weaker PSP was quite a solid/quality entry for the Franchise.
Honestly, I’m good with all these games, which is one of the reasons why I still have those consoles. They still look good as well.
My favorite game series during the PlayStation 3 era! Sad it never make it over to the PS4 and now the PS5. However I glad it never got another game past its third title. Considering what happened to halo and gears of war after their third games.
Bro resistance Fall of Man was my gears of war on the ps3 growing up. Love them both and wish that resistance could have gotten another game
I know every piece of lore and biology if resistance so happy to find people with the same interests in gears and resistance
I like how it’s in 1951, it’s unique from the other games that are super far in the future like Halo and Doom. Cool stuff. 😁

@@KingAbzTV the chimera would beat the gears of war 1 horde but the horde at its peak in gears of war 2 with the riftworm would make a challenge for the chimera it would come down to if the chimera are able to destroy the riftworm and reacht locust hollow wich they are capable of.

Chimera win low difficulty if the chimera virus works on the locust or if ukon can’t develop a cure fast enough.

I've heard somewhere that the Pure Chimera might actually be extinct by the time the games take place. Pretty saddening if you think about it.

@@deathrex007 The Pure Chimera. The meteor was probably meant for the unknown race but, ofc, the Pure Chimera didn't know they had left to chase them across the stars.

Shame the team was planning to make a movie based on it and was going to be about the invasion of the USA by the Chimera imagine a war of the world like one or a parody like Indepedent Days

Shame it’s a PS exclusive franchise. I always considered this franchise to be PS’s thematic counterpart to GoW. Kind of like if you crossed GoW with WW2
Since Sony has all these awesome IPs instead of crying about potentially losing CoD and how “they can’t compete” they should instead actually use said franchises as an incentive to buy their consoles (in addition to putting them on their own pc storefront and making their GamePass clone actually good). Give us a few remastered collections of Resistance, Killzone, and a few other things that stay mostly faithful to the originals, while using what they’ve learned over the years if development to improve the experience and have soft retcons here and there to make the series more consistent with each other and have the narrative flow better. The Dead Space remake would be a good example of this. Some of the improvements would include, fixing certain areas where the level design was bad, using different enemies from throughout the series to improve the lack of enemy variety in the older titles, use the best version of the gunplay/weapons, improve or outright scrap different mechanics that didn’t work, and other quality of life improvements. Sadly, they’d much rather try to get government to maintain their market dominance instead of giving their customers what they want😂

I always liked the idea where in a different universe there are many different alien species and it plays out sorta like earth politics and that humans are considered a new discovery and third world planet not yet able to travel the galaxy so you have some alien species who want to conquer the planet and others who want to defend it and coexist with humans kinda like mass effect did but without the doomsday robots that hate all organic life
I do have a problem with the Liberty Defense Perimeter. 🤔
Florida ain't in it, if it was then the 80 million citizens within wouldn't have been wiped out. 💀

Well, evacuations would have been in place and the LDP would be safer remaining in the centre of the US instead of trying to encompass the area of florida inside of it.

I forgot about this game, I loved both of them the third not so much. when I was younger definitely a replay. I hope someday we get a game about the unknown race v chimera. Because what did they do to make unknown race so mad to chase them 😂😂😂

Was just replaying the 3 main titles on a ps3 emulator on PC and Ive gotta say no matter the crashes with the 2nd and 3rd game I just know why I loved these games there is nothing like it they are to me the coolest designed and portrayed Alien in any games Im so sad to not get another game or two of this
It's a shame their old enemy didn't show up in the game or comics.

The reveal trailer for this game was amazing. I've always wondered why they can't replace their cooling gear? I mean you see a machine attach it to them. Why can't it put on a new one?

Man I love resistance game series the fall of men was my very first PS3 game in my childhood I wished this first game and rest of series would be released in PlayStation store and PS4

Resistance the forgotten masterpiece!!!!
I haven't played this game in forever but it was one of the firsts I was *Wowed 😯* by with the graphics and gameplay when PS3 came out. Never finished the campaign because I was addicted to the multiplayer. Same with Resistance 2 I straight played co-op all the time.
Can you do a video on why the protagonist doesn't become a full Chimera ❓
Also, you've done Gears of War, and Unreal Tournament which are definitely related; Have you done any Quake videos ❓I think Unreal was inspired by Quake.
That's an idea, I've not covered any Unreal Tournament or Quake as of yet!
